Now you know what's funny? Trying to translate into a different language, looking up words in a dictionary, one starts to speak oddly in one's own language .. so I didn't say "Is that right?" .. but is it "correct" .. because if I looked up "right" I might get the opposite word to "left" .. and it's got me speaking like that .. :lmao:

Well CarylB, maybe you must stop using that translator thing.... cause it is very strange Dutch for us.... And it is hard to understand hahaha... read this topic, and maybe that will help.

You know what an Australian friend of mine always did to have a good laugh: He translated an English text into Spanish. Then, he took the Spanish translation and had that translated back into English. It was SO funny, what came out. :lmao:

Actually TimI wasn't using a translator .. just a dictionary which without divine intervention is the only way I can find Dutch words :)

Peut etre je dois parler en francais, parce que c'est la langue que j'ai etudie a l'ecole. Je ne le parle tres bien, mais c'est plus facile pour moi. Je connais une vocabulaire plus grande, et il ne me faut chercher chaque mot!! .. Eh bien .. j'essayais dire "le soleil brille a chers amis" :))

It's impossible to learn a language with only a dictionary, because you're likely to pick the wrong words and then there's the grammar..

Totally agree with that. I mean... English is an easy language... But Dutch... I think Dutch is a hard language... you can't learn it that simple, got a very complex grammar thing!!!

Ik gebruik een woordenboek en ik streef hoe om werkwoorden te vervoegen. Nederlandze grammar is zoals Duitser grammar. Het is vreemd aan mij. Maar het is gemakkelijk dan Latijn!!! :lmao:

Als mijn Nederlands onhandige is vergeef alstublieft mij .. ik streef :)
