The rain's coming down in heavy vertical sheets of water and there's thunder and lightening...think that pretty much sums today up!!

That lightening missed my office by less than 100 yards ... the council building next door threw itself into the line of fire to save us!

Been chopping some stuff to marinate chicken in, so I'm smelling of chilli, garlic and ginger - not especially horrible but I can't shift it!

fresh lemon juice is supposed to be quite good...

We have fresh lemon, but using it on my hands means it can't go into gin....

did is REALLY gonna be a busy weekend:
as it looks now, I'm gonna:
- attend a zeppelin ride on saturday morning.
- run through the city-wide fair for three hours and interview every person on stage I can find on saturday afternoon.
- Make a phone interview with some quite famous tv presenter after that.
- attend a national broadcaster giant tv show with famous artists from all over the world on sunday night.

Managed to shift the chilli and ginger, just the garlic now which I don't mind because I enjoy garlic to a frightening extent, I'd be the worst vampire ever.
