I agree! One of my favourites... Not just because Patrick Swayze is particularly yummy in this one, but because it's what got me into The Jeff Healey Band...

Last film for me was Transporter 3, and I've just read Angels and Demons again in preparation for 14th May....

Just started reading it again lol

Hypnobabe 03 May 2009 14:17

Lol... started yesterday, finished this morning.... Was fascinated with Google maps on my i-touch too, looking up locations to see how accurate the writing is...

Itīs on TV tonight here as well.
And I absolutely refused to watch it until I read your post... lol
Now I consider watching it;)

SamCat 03 May 2009 15:51

It offends everybody equally if that helps lol!!

mszee 03 May 2009 17:24

God, I hated that Borat thing...

I don't even remember when I watched movie last...currently we're wading through some 400 episodes of Russian soap opera translated from German one...will take another month or two to finish...lol...

So the last one was a play Exit the King with Geoffrey Rush, Susan Sarandon and more of the all star cast...Geoffrey Rush was phenomenal!!!

Hypnobabe 03 May 2009 17:34

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, and I'm now watcing Beetlejuice... I didn't realise Adam Baldwin was in it!!!

KebLou 04 May 2009 08:44

Watchmen for the 3rd time and Coraline. Coraline in 3D is rather interesting, and quite enjoyable.

Pudding 04 May 2009 10:45

Stone Of Destiny based on a true story of how some Scottish students stole back the Stone of Scone It was quite enjoyable.

MeatGrl1 04 May 2009 20:44

It wasn't a movie but I watched the Pilot episode of Citizen Smith with Robert Lindsay. Love this series .

"POWER TO THE PEOPLE !"

 !!

Perhaps you should start a 'What was the last TV show you saw?' thread ;)

lol, I'm avouiding the book till after the film, don't want to spoil the film by having freshly read the book and then had to sit through 2 hrs 20 mins complaining about what they've missed out ...

Pudding 05 May 2009 10:33

Too late for me, I've read the book several times and even splashed out for the fancy hardback version with all the pictures. I swear if I don't see an eyeball on the floor staring at me I'm walking out of the cinema.

AndyK 05 May 2009 10:43

Did the picture version make it easier to read? :lmao:

Read it enough years ago to have forgotten most of the details (except the eyeball bizarrely), and will re-read when I finally get my copy back ... which will be after May 14th I'd imagine.

Hypnobabe 05 May 2009 11:49

Body of Lies.... Huh?

Am watching Alien from the triple pack of the first three films I picked up in Tesco yesterday for a fiver...

Sarge 05 May 2009 18:15

Charade

LucyK! 05 May 2009 18:44

I've always taken the pi$$ out of the Harry Potter fans who organise their lives around the films coming out and go to the shops at midnight to get a copy of the new book...sorry to say I have lowed myself to this level and am counting down the minutes until Angels and Demons, life comes to a standstill when the advert comes on! Bring on the new book in October (I think?! Andy did tell me but I was probably squealing at the A&D ad again :? )

Last film....was...I have no idea, mind's gone blank, too much crap in there! We watched Sliding Doors recently which was fab, some brilliant one-liners in there

Think it's September 10th?

LucyK! 05 May 2009 19:07

Oh even better! Had that much going on lately it's nice to focus on something as stupid as a film coming out!

allrevvedup 05 May 2009 21:44

balls of fury...some funny parts to it and not bad overall...good to watch with a pizza and a few beers...or a beer and a few pizzas your choice really

MeatGrl1 06 May 2009 03:23

According to Dan Brown's official website it's September 15th. I heard that initially they were only going to print 5million copies and I reckon it'll sell like hot cakes.

AndyK 06 May 2009 11:40

It's already number 2 in the Amazon Fiction sales rank based on pre-orders alone.
