Lakehouse...
I figured that letters traveled in time via old mailbox - must have been a nexus between the times... Somehow every time that little flag dropped I was thinking...You've got mail! What I haven't figured out was...how did they talk like it was a messenger...back and forth...must have spent a LOT of time standing by that mailbox...fun fun fun... |
Chasing Ghosts. First time I'd seen it. Great movie with even greater actor/s in it.
|
The Hills Have Eyes 2
Amazingly enough, this film made me jump a few times, which most horror flicks don't, because you can see it coming. This one also ends in away that there could be a part 3 in the future. :) I give it an 8/10 for "jump factor". :)) Not a bad flick at all.. much better than I had imagined it would be. J. |

Movie is quite murky...but Depp is magnificent! |

Always when you're in a group with at least two girls or women, and you're discussing movies, after maximal 4 minutes it goes "Depp Depp Depp Depp Depp" :nag: |

I honestly don't know a man sexier than him...can't name one... PLUS...surprisingly enough he is a good actor... |
Pick Of Destiny. Rather disappointing :(
|
Drive Me Crazy - at least it made me eat my lunch quickly, so I could escape miserable daytime TV.
Before anyone asks, I turned on the TV to catch news updates on the Solomon Islands tsunami during my lunch break. |
Cinema - Mr Bean's Holiday :D :D :P lol
DVD -Original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles |

Dog Soilder's what a film. Scarey yet funny in places, really worth a watch.
|
Borat...
What the hell was that? Cant believe I spent money for this! Why do so many people say it's the funniest movie in ages? There were two or three moments were I had to smile just from the pure stupidity, but that's all! Think I'll bring it back to the shop... |

However...beleive it or not...in remote parts of Russia people never heard of jews...but from what they did hear...they envision them as devils...that is actually a true fact... I actually met a person who while encountering their first Jewish person said...I don't get it...he has two eyes, two arms and two legs...what is so different about him??????????????? Was expecting a devil with horns... |

he's gorgeous... breathtaking at times really... AND like you say... he's a good actor !... he can get more across with a wee twitch of an eyebrow or lip than... oh ANYBODY... !!! and he's the only actor whose films i have a collection of... and... okay... enough already... i'm getting... too woozie... lol... and my dvd player's on the fritz... why torment myself... lol... last film i saw was... The Betty Broderick Story... |
Zebra Lounge ... on TV last night ... very strange!! But Stephan Baldwin redeemed it marginally (the only decent Baldwin in my book!)
|
Hollywood Cops

Moulin Rouge.
She really likes it so we watched that again. the downside is that I spent all morning humming the Elephant love medley whilst playing on the trains this morning. |

|
Oh my god...believe it or not it was Sound of Music
I needed something playing in the background and not distracting me... |
Strictly speaking it was the Sound Of Music also, but since I was painting at the time it doesn't count (someone else who shall remain nameless, but for the sake of argument we'll call her "T'Other Half" Yoddled all the way through). Still can't understand how she (Julie Andrews that is, not T'Other Half) can be a nun one day and then three days later is getting married! :?
Other than that it was Premonition ... didn't see that coming :)) |
I have a LOT of questions concerning that movie now...
For example...how do you walk away...quit sort of without notice and leave innocent children fend for themselves...and then come back just like that...just because...and taken in like you're the best thing that ever happened to anybody... |
Am in the middle of watching One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest... again...
|
ROCKY BALBOA and ERAGON yesterday

The Great Escape.
I still cheer for Colin everytime as one day, I really really want him to escape! |
Japanese Story - "a nice little film" as Meat would say. Aussie movie of course.

I could sit all day and pull that story line apart but the "must sing along" songs make up for it....not sure the neighbours agree, or Andy for that matter, but I love it! |
Quote:
The Hills are aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eee :lmao: Non-stop...those songs definitely have subliminal message somewhere there... |

Quote:
I haven't watched it for years now...and although I now see it with new eyes...the songs just get into my hair and I can't wash them out...they are VERY catchy... But then again...I LOVE musicals...and once I see one or hear one...it gets into my head and the only way to get them out is for me to see the next one...:lmao: |
If they drive you crazy you can always do what Andy did and adapt some of the songs with some rather ..choice lyrics
|

In a mood I am in right now...if I do THAT...it will become Howl of Hell rather than Sound of Music...:lmao: |
Unfortunately I would most definitely be infracted, if not banned, for posting inappropriate content on a family forum...shall we say there were various ways of Solving A Problem Like Maria and some additional lines to So Long, Farewell, **** off!

SAW
Love the SAW movies, but I watched the cut version for free TV... horrible!!! makes no sense to cut this film!!! |
Grease.
Am now singing like a demented version of Danny whilst doing the DIY! |
Quote:
The US-Directors cut version is the best IMO, pretty bloody that's important for the mood of the movie. |
Saw was very good...didn't bother with the other ones...sequels to these things are never any good...case in point is The Ring.
|
A beautiful mind....great movie
|

Still POTC I and II, I'm afraid, but I quite fancy watching Road Hogs when it comes out tomorrow... |

2001: A Space Odyssey
Had seen about the first ten mins a long time ago, and thought it was all classical music and pictures, no plot to follow, which I was glad of as I was tired and not really up to plot following. But when I found there was talking in it I watched it all the way through, but can someone please explain what happened in the last half hour???!! I got a bit lost after that. |
A Walk To Remember - I BAWLED all the way through the second half!!! My god am I a poof! :P lol
