The Kid...yes, string of kiddie movies continues...and I've found myself laughing hysterically most of the time...scary...

Hypnobabe 01 Jun 2009 14:40

Still ER, but I did pick up Twelve Monkeys and High Fidelity this morning in Tesco, so they'll be on the list for later...

Perfume - The Story Of A Murderer

Was the second time Iīve watched this movie, but Iīll stick to my first opinion.
Yes, it has Alan Rickman in it, but even he canīt make me like the movie.
I read the book and it was one of those "Ok, I finished it but I really donīt have to read it again"-books, but if you thought the book is a bit , then watch the movie...I guarantee it can get worse lol

still got that one lying around somewhere, have yet to convince myself to watch it.

Last two notable films I've seen were

100 Million BC
Without a doubt, and without exaggerating, THE - WORST - MOVIE I've ever seen.

A Clockwork Orange
It was interesting, but very, very strange....typical Kubrick

Hypnobabe 04 Jun 2009 10:56

Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis being mad in Twelve Monkeys...

AndrewG 04 Jun 2009 14:51

Terminator Salvation.

Meh..... Sigh..... it's okay, but nothing like the first 2 obviously.
Still another 2 Terminator movies to go apparently... fek sake.

Sarge 04 Jun 2009 16:17

Edge of Darkness - well-made WWII propaganda movie with Errol Flynn.

duke knooby 04 Jun 2009 19:31

most of house of wax... till i fell asleep

MeatGrl1 05 Jun 2009 02:18

Gilbert & Sullivan's H.M.S Pinafore with Frankie Howard

Love it .
Could not fault it, cast was brilliant and the songs were sung brilliantly, Frankie Howard was cool, I always enjoy watching his facial expressions.. Or should I say did.

Pudding 05 Jun 2009 11:25

Terminator Salvation - not a bad film, not a great film either.

MeatGrl1 06 Jun 2009 06:34

Bonnie And Clyde

Absolutely wonderful film, though given the time this was made the driving scenes are not realistic  !!

What ?!? I was not tired so I watched a movie, then I was hungry so here I am .

RadioMaster 06 Jun 2009 09:36

Die Welle/The Wave (2008 )

not quite happy with this. I thought it was an interesting approach to set the story in a German city instead of california, but especially the new ending disappointed me.
In the book they all learned that what they've done was horribly wrong, but in the film, they're only shocked by the death of that nerdy kid, but yet could still think The Wave is a great thing and only harms people when they're weak and nerdy.

samurai7 06 Jun 2009 18:19

Defiance. Pretty good, if you can overlook Daniel Craig's wandering accent.

AndrewG 06 Jun 2009 18:38

The Terminator.
Much, much, much better than the 4th installment imo.

That struck me as a poor man's Schindler's List, tbh... I'm sure I'm doing those brave people an injustice, but still...
