I am not touching that yet...not ready for back surgery...

I guess one can get adjusted to constant pain...although some days are better than others...

What is normal back pain??????

No, I have problems with discs in spine that actually pinched center of nerves something or other...anyway...the pain affects neck, head, arm, elbow, hand and leg...mostly on the right side...well, if it's normal then I guess it's normal???

I am definitely hanging in there...I am now in "acceptance" phase...so it's all good...

Thanks for the support and hug!!!

i suppose youre talking about a slipped disk? it's a common problem over here (and btw, one of the words with the funniest german translation: bandscheibenvorfall). A friend of mine is 23 and already had it fixed surgically.

The best I can say is - herniated discs (as multiple)??? Whatever the hell it means...Dan read up on this and tried to explain it to me and I got sick to my stomach at "herniated"...

AndyK 07 Aug 2009 20:49

Zina.

You take care, I know from experience what disc problems are like.

RadioMaster 07 Aug 2009 21:13

is now spending the next 48 hours in isolation to set up his new computer

Thanks...

You can see my decrease in post count...enough said...but seriously speaking it would be funny if it wasn't unfunny...I became Charlie's (of Chocolate Factory) grandparent...I live now in bed besides going to work...I eat in bed, I read in bed, I watch TV in bed and the next step is laptop in bed...very funny...

MissAsh 07 Aug 2009 23:44

Oh Zina, I really feel for you having had back problems myself (although not to the severity of yours). I hope you manage to find something which eases it for you.

~Helen~ 08 Aug 2009 01:20

Aww Zina I didn't know until reading here today, I mustn't've been here for a few days, or head just full of fluff. Either way I hope you're right again soon :-( {{{hugs}}} backs can be right b*ggers when they hurt!

~Helen~ 08 Aug 2009 01:32

How have I got myself into the fine mess of having to play in a 5-a-side football match for work tomorrow?

Should I add that there are 4 teams in total, and mine is the only one with a female - me.

And I don't work tomorrow. Or get paid for this.

And I can't play football.

And I'm borrowing an eleven year old's shin pads. At least I am if my workmate remembers to bring his son's shin pads.

SW31 08 Aug 2009 03:06

duke knooby 10 Aug 2009 00:23

the poteen was a mistake last night

Pudding 10 Aug 2009 00:45

Poteen = rocket fuel.

mszee 10 Aug 2009 18:06

Thank you all for good wishes...and nobody should feel bad about not knowing...you actually all know it now cause I am better...lol...

I will survive...as long as I don't play too much on computer - and it's not really possible with my current job - which is a very much part time job where I am forced to stay full time AND work non-paid overtime...so while my boss thinks he is getting something for nothing...I am getting a bad back from playing games to somewhat relieve boredom...I would have said that there is a time for a new job but with this economy...dot dot dot...

Lord Kagan 10 Aug 2009 21:22

i wanna

~Helen~ 11 Aug 2009 00:47

A half dismantled camera can give quite a nasty shock when you try to use it

Ouch!
