Q: Why are people saying only nice things about Robin Cook as opposed to when he was alive everyone acknowledging what a prat he was? :|

KebLou 07 Aug 2005 20:37

Cherry ice cream.
Robin Cook- because he's dead you have to be respectful, soon they'll be back to normal, plus he did die quite suddenly.

What's your favourite type of photography: black and white or colour?

needmoremeat 07 Aug 2005 20:51

A: Depends on what the photo is of. If it's sunsets or butterflies I have to have them in colour, but people and buildings look good in black and white :-)

Q: Why is the TV series 24 (keifer sutherland) so addictive?!

Pixie 07 Aug 2005 21:14

Q: So what does everyone think of Scientology then? (that's a loaded question I suppose...:? )

Biter 08 Aug 2005 04:10

Its ok if you can afford it and if it makes someone feel like a better person, then why should I stand in their way. Every religion has good and bad bits.

Why are all the good clothes shops overpriced? :(

Gez 08 Aug 2005 21:42

They're not, its just that your not paid enough

Why do birds sing??

amethyst 08 Aug 2005 22:17

Pixie 08 Aug 2005 22:48

A: Because you don't earn enough!:D

Q: Why do I always cry at the sad bits of EVERY movie, embarrassing myself in front of my 3 little children who never do????

Biter 08 Aug 2005 23:01

Its the way youre built....I cried over the episode of Buffy on sky one today....its the one where she finally defeats Glory and sacrifices herself to save Dawn *blubs again*. Same with Armageddon. Sad as a puppy with a missing leg.

Yes!!! You never know when you'll need their help

Q: What kind of outfit should I wear to my daughters wedding in October?
If it goes ahead that is!!

Chris 10 Aug 2005 22:31

Well, the brides mother sets precedent so wear something bright. Also etiquette dictates that the brides mother leads whether guests keep hats on or off. So, if you wear a small feather type arrangement, you can keep it on all day and make everyone in huge hats suffer all day!!!

Q. Did anyone else think lost was blooming good?

dottie 10 Aug 2005 22:34

thanks Chris for that very informative post regarding hats, think I'll take your advice and make them suffer, sorry I digress......

Dunno didn't see it, been on here!!!!!!!!!!!

Q : is having kids fun? don't know yet

Pixie 11 Aug 2005 10:04

A: YES (if you are the kid!!) :D

And YES I thought 'Lost' was good, although the creature in the jungle thing was a bit too far-fetched (but then apparently it's meant to be 'quirky' not 'realistic' so I suppose we'll see...) :O

Chris 11 Aug 2005 13:34

Q: Aren't we doing well in the cricket today?

Chris 11 Aug 2005 19:46

KebLou 16 Aug 2005 16:25

You can either read, play connect four by yourself or get a camera out and take random pictures. Obviously there are other things you could do but these are the best suggestions I have at the minute.

Why have the people at the bottom of our garden had their tree cut down so they can see right into our house? And, why does my nan find it so annoying?

ChloeLee88 16 Aug 2005 21:31

Well im guessin cos they have a secret crush on someone in the house, either that or they like your curtains, and your nan finds it so annoying because they might copy her curtains!!!

Q: Why do people always blame the goalie?? :?

tukayaway 18 Aug 2005 16:32

Because last night the goalie was at fault for the first three goals. Ok, the defence might be at fault for not clearing the ball sooner, but the point is that the keeper could have quite easily stopped them.

Also, it doesn't help when David James is a poor keeper in the first place, the fact that he once played for Watford highlights this.

Does anyone else hate Premiership football?

Biter 18 Aug 2005 18:08
