Manchester 25 May:heart:
We were supposed to see Noah and the Whale on 13th of May but they cancelled about a week before due to a promotional opportunity. We have yet to hear about the rescheduled date....grrrr.....ok, rant over - been wanting to rant about it somewhere! :) |
Mr Loaf...about a million times but still doesn't feel enough!!
The other show we saw during the tour was Tanz De Vampire!! Andy's seen it before (in the US) but I'd not seen it so we caught it in Berlin during our ML trip...what a show! Just phenominal! To hear Jim's music ringing through a theatre was amazing, it seemed so at home there. If anyone's not seen it I can't recommend it highly enough...made me wanna be a vampire! |

Bruce Springsteen and the house-rocking, pants-dropping, brain-shocking, earth-quaking, booty-shaking, Viagra-taking, lovemaking, sexifying, electrifying legendary E Street Band!
Roy Bittan reached new levels of incredible last night!! |

He'd only done a couple of songs before he was doing requests from signs and it seemed really early, then he says "so, we can continue to take signs and do requests....or we can give you Darkness On The Edge Of Town from start to finish" - everyone went mental, it was so brilliant as clearly no-one was expecting him to say it!! Racing In The Streets was the best it's ever been! |
It certainly caught the casual concert goer at Wembley out, and for that The Boss gets full marks :))

I'd love to see Darkness live- it's my favorite Bruce album. He only did Darkness here twice, and I wasn't able to make either one. (I did manage to make it to NYC for The Wild and Innocent, though ) Cool on the surprise factor- when he played albums here they were announced beforehand. Darkness was on the setlist, though, so if he took requests instead, it would have been the biggest audible in history. |
The boss! And is the next one also
|
Download festival so many different bands / artists
Already got next years place sorted |
Bruuuuuuuuuuuce. In coventry.
The entire Born to Run album from start to finish, The River, Born in the USA, Dancing in the Dark. American Land. Stunning setlist I thought. Stunning show. A tremendous amount of fun. First time my wife saw him. One of the best shows I've seen him do in the 10 years I've been going to see him live. |
Looks like I've missed some updating.
Lotsa shows...most I got to see for free! I love my job....except for the rap shows...ugh.
I enjoy heeding Meat's advice to "keep rocking" ;) |
