That's such a pain for you, I know when I accepted my offer it cancelled out anything I got from elsewhere...is there nothing in place for you to switch courses on the basis that it was the Uni that changed their minds rather than you?

Lord Kagan 29 Aug 2007 17:24

No, Ive paid non refundable fees, And enrolled in courses, The University even told me it was highly unlikely that I would get into the course, So offered me other crappy ones. So I said no and went to the Technical Schools.... Damit...

I cant switch courses. I went to a tech seeing as the Uni was gonna offer me a place then.. And enrolled there, Paying fees etc

LucyK! 29 Aug 2007 17:29

That really is a pain in the arse. If it's any consolation I'm not studying where I want to be either, which has been a real kick in the teeth for so many reasons, so I guess the pair of us will have to knuckle down and make the most of what we've got!

Lord Kagan 29 Aug 2007 17:32

Yup, Just work my ass off in the tech and re apply next year

RadioMaster 29 Aug 2007 17:46

man, that sucks for you.....*totally un-gay friend-supporting hug*

mszee 29 Aug 2007 17:46

The truth is...everything in life happens for a reason...you may not know it right now...but you will see it in the future...just trust me...and whatever happens does happen for the better...

RadioMaster 29 Aug 2007 17:51

I finally finished it :cheer:

Lord Kagan 29 Aug 2007 17:59

Ill just do the impossible and work my ass off for a year and Re apply to Uni with better A levels
