I just read your blog FA. I did first aid at work but the main reason I was choosen was because I had a child and they thought it would be an important skill outside of work as well.

I'm studying as well, but its my five minute break so I thought I'd come and say hi, good luck FA with your studying.

We are taught very basic first aid at school but as most of our first aiders aren't qualified to teach first aid so they can just show us the books and it is down to us to understand and go out and find out more.

Get in touch with the local Red Cross or St John's - they do free courses.
