Sarah - thanks for the thought though - I will email you - I am really not having a good week of it - with what I told you & work

In tears earlier   - As you know - that's not like me - but had enough now!!!!!!!!!

Ageing Bat 22 Sep 2005 13:48

Think it must be something in the air lately - nearly everyone I speak to (and me too), seems to be having a grotty time at the moment.

Just remember, you have to experience the bad things in life, to be able to fully appreciate the good.

Chris 22 Sep 2005 20:37

:(

Cowboys don’t cry, and heroes don’t die
Good always wins, again and again
Love is a sweet dream that always comes true
Oh, if life were like the movies, I’d never be blue

But here in the real world
It’s not that easy at all
’cause when hearts get broken
It’s real tears that fall
And darlin’ it’s sad but true
But the one thing I’ve learned from you
Is how the boy don’t always get the girl
Here in the real world

I gave you my love, but that wasn’t enough
To hold your heart when times got rough
And tonight on that silver screen
It’ll end like it should
Two lovers will make it through
Like I hoped we would

No, the boy don’t always get the girl
Here in the real world
:(

So dear friends your love is gone
Only tears to dwell upon
I dare not say as the wind must blow
So a love is lost, a love is won
Go to sleep and dream again
Soon your hopes will rise and then
From all this gloom life can start anew
And there'll be no crying soon

On Saturday we slide down on wire. Of course we had saftyequipment but it was fun.. In the evening we had sauna and most of the girls (me included) went to swim in the ocean.. (The camp place was near to ocean) It was so wonderful to swim in the cold water..

On Sunday we packed and cleended the place and we went into Caribia...
I mean spa called Caribia.. It was so nice... :D Very relaxing...

Feeling better today - but have a bit of a sore throat :(

Ageing Bat 27 Sep 2005 09:05

Today started badly - woken by phone call at 5:30 as my husband had had an accident on the way to work. He's fine, the car's still embedded in a ditch and looks very, very poorly. The tree that stopped him hurtling into a field doesn't look too happy either. It's amazing - he doesn't have a scratch or bruise on him, only an aching jaw from where he gritted his teeth before impact!! Now that's what I call lucky.

All my best to your husband for a speedy recovery Ageing Bat!!

Ageing Bat 27 Sep 2005 17:17

Oh, he's fine..... I'm fuming!

It dawned on me later, after I'd got up at 5:30 to sort him out and take him to work as he 'didn't want to let them down' that he obviously thinks his job is more important than mine, as I had to take the morning off to deal with insurance and recovery, and drive home to get the spare car keys as he'd gone to work with the main keys in his pocket!!!!

Men!!!

Ageing Bat 27 Sep 2005 17:19

....... AND......

He only thinks he's going to use my car to get to work until he's either got another one, or his one is repaired, and for me to catch the bus..... I don't think so!!!

Cathie 27 Sep 2005 19:37

Glad he is ok and hope you are too x

Might wanna hide the keys though if it looks like he might be trying to kidnap your car! ;)

Shame about the morning sickness though :? .

djfierce 28 Sep 2005 16:43

cheers guys nurse said it could last a few weeks or eight months so hopefully the first is true in my case. she also said sickness like mine normally indicates twins :yikes:

Ageing Bat 28 Sep 2005 17:08

Congratulations djfierce!

I tried the ginger biscuits - just found them harder to get back up!

Mashed banana on toast helped me for some reason (and if it didn't work, it didn't taste too bad second time around!!).

My sickness was horrendous, but I only had one baby each time!
