All I ever learned about pop culture I learned from Howard Stern for 18 some years, but I did not go with him to satellite radio ... lol ... so I'm a bit out of it.

Sometimes avatars are a bit too busy, or when one will take a picture and downsize it to avatar size, it loses it's clarity. I've been thinking about changing mine, but when I downsize tink pictures, she ends up looking like a bit of nothing on a background. I'll continue experimenting.

I remember a discussion we were having on a forum for (mostly ex) merchant navy sailors about some girl from Australia doing one of these sail round the world thingies at a very young age.
Most sailors in the peak of their prime would think twice before taking on that task, let alone a 14 year old going alone.
This obsession with fastest, highest, deepest, youngest, is bloody dangerous, and the "youngest" most of all because the "adults" are supposed to look after their well being, not throw them in a boat and have a launching party.

Really can't believe how some people can be so hurtfull to family members.....
