However, mnl finally descended the golden stair from her bedroom and is right now sitting there in her usual spot where she will be allll l... daaaay ... looong... and into a bit of the evening, so, I'll assume it was a mouse.

I hope my laundry on the line in the yard won't smell like a house afire. The neighbors are bbq'ing and I thought their house was on fire ! ... People who live in rowhouse neighborhoods, as I do, learn to be more respectful of fellow neighbors.
