Worst monster movie I can think of off the top of my head is the Hollywood Godzilla movie. Utter shite.

borrowed heavily from Jaws, even the soundtrack sounded very familiar to me :wtf:

Cool Runnings. A great film to get in to the winter olympic frame of mind with!

Monstro 14 Feb 2010 20:51

Just seen Avatar in 3D, never seen a 3D film before and if you haven't seen this one see it!!

RadioMaster 14 Feb 2010 21:32

finished the Anaconda series with Anaconda 4: Trail of Blood

first two movies are entertaining, 3 and 4 not worth watching
was a good deal though, as I payed 10€ for the whole box.

Indeed, a perfect Valentines night choice :lmao:

Still can't watch the hobbling scene though, cringed when I saw it on the big creen 20 years ago and it still makes me feel ill now.

Friday the 13th Part 2

Evil One 17 Feb 2010 22:45

Avatar. I thought it was a good film but it focused too much on style over substance. Take away the CGI and you're left with an overly long, excessively preachy tale. The CGI ranged from awesomely fantastic to average and there were times where it didn't look quite right. I don't think the technology is ready to do a film like this, almost but not quite. That said I did enjoy the film, but it's not something I'm dying to see again. I do want one of those sit in robots though!
