lol, lucky you, i got told today at shortly after 5pm that the first interviewee this morning had applied for my job

Yesterday a couple people stopped outside to chat and I overheard one ask the other if he'd heard about the elderly man who got hit by a car. Maybe that was it. Still there's been nothing on news. That would make some sense. Perhaps the man was hit and staggered onto the sidewalk and that's why that bit of sidewalk was blocked.

I hope he wasn't severely hurt. I just heard another loud BANG :shock:, at about the same time as yesterday and from the same direction. :?

Maybe there's construction work going on nearby of which you're not aware ? That happens near my neighborhood sometimes.

Happy that this morning was not like yesterday ! LOL..
