Just checked Wikipedia:
it is true that the german and the briish pound have two differnt weights. The german one is exactly half a kg, although it's not an official unit of mass, while it is an official one, with a different weight, in other countries. Here it's only used colloquially (sp?). You order a pound of meat for example. |

Well, Anji had her 3rd scan Monday and her pre-assessment yesterday and all's going well, confirmed that we're at the hospital Wednesday at 8am when Anji will be booked in.

Kinda weird that I'm now counting down in hours and not months/weeks, just where the hell did nine months go??????
As soon as I get in tomorrow evening I'll start a thread with the all important first pics and a complete breakdown of the days events including how many times Anji says "you're not coming anywhere bloody near me again" lol I've been allowed out to play tomorrow night to fulfill the age old tradition of wetting the baby's head (won't be soaked, just moistened as I've got to be up early to get back to the hospital) so feel free to join me in the Bat & Belfry as I sit there smoking my Cuban cigar (cheers Martin!!) with a whisky (cheers Em!!) and a "my god there's a mini Monstro" scared shitless look on my face!!! I'm sooooooo happy Anji knows what she's doing as right now I'm realising just how bloody little I do know. Reading how excited everyone is for us has been great, Anji and I really appreciate all the messages and support (I know of at least two people who's phone bills would probably settle the debt of a small third world country). I think it was at Nottingham at the concert that brought it home to us, Anji had to sit down for a bit so left the barrier, I reckon the band must've wondered what the hell was going on as the majority of the front row had their backs towards the stage making sure everything was ok lol.
