Wasn't it the best ever set up you've ever seen in your life - we're just rewinding and playing over and over again - even had a call from my sister in Oz she'd heard about the show but alas she lives in Merriwa - sheep shearing country :lol: and they don't receive Graham Norton - but I have promised her a copy as soon as I can get everything organised.
What an absolutely wonderful night - can't wait to get it up on the web - :oops: shouldn't have said that hopefully we won't have to wait much longer than a week or so .

Bren - Meat was gargantuan wasn't he - life without him would be a sadder place - Ellis's reaction was incredible I just keep playing that part over and over again. I am so proud of Ellis, he is a lovely lad and did his parents proud on the night :lmao: Maybe he'll knock next time he wants to come into our bedroom :lol:

termin8orjen once I have had a chance to thoroughly view the tape a complete review will be submitted for the Rear View Mirror for all to read, including a few bits that were cut :lol: plus some more photographs taken from the DVD o.k. Patti is beautiful isn't she, and that voice where does it come from :!: Ellis was absolutely mortified as you can imagine - we didn't have a clue because we were behind the curtains - so its all brand new to us - what a show

Me thinks one of my posts disappeared into a black hole or into that bed.

Yesterday at the B/B/Q somebody thought they'd put the video on 3/4 etc times - everyone just fell about - they couldn't believe what we'd done - had them queing for autographs in the end :lol: Lots and lots of questions - main one how did it come about - so I told them that I belonged to the Meat Loaf Forum/Fan Club and that they were more than welcome to pay us a visit - I hope they do :!:

Went to my daughters Karens today - her video had gone kapput so she hadn't seen the complete video yet, we sat and watched it 5 times, its still as surreal as a few weeks ago. Karen loved it the tears streamed down her face as she watched the video over and over again

It might be worth sending them an e-mail, explaining the situation, and they probably wouldn't mind if it was a reasonably short clip.

Technically a photo is just as much a copyright infringment as a video clip, as far as I know.

If you explain it is not being sold etc I am sure they wouldn't mind. Maybe emailing the lady that posted on the forum originally?

Am in touch with persons concerned who can help me and hopefully I will have some news um soon :??:

Re the links on ROL:

The "dead links" which Sherrie mentions are just that .. Vicki has set up a page and posted some video clips, but has yet to get the others ready for posting .. so if you like it's an indication that they're coming :)

If there are any broken links .. ie when you try to get to a page you get "Page not found" or some such message, please let us know. As Sin said we recently moved servers and we THINK we've caught all the ones that fell over in the journey :) .. but we may have missed some .. You can email us, pm us or report any like this by hitting the little figure of Meat saying Problems? which is on the main Route. We're busy on a special new project tonight connected with Meat's next release .. more news on that soon :)) .. and then Vicki will be back on the video case :)

I had the same problem with the videos on that page, thanks to help from the kind folks at ROL I was able to fix it. To run them I had to:

update my version of Windows Media Player and

save to my desktop and run the videos rather than running them directly from the page


It took a while to figure that out, but it was well worth it. Now I'm on my way to ROL to check out Dottie in bed with ML! Woooo!

I think part of the problem is that the clips are bigger ... but it's just so hard to find a good stopping point during some of his stories .. :lol:

I've just finished watching the GN clips on ROL, and I have to say my face actually hurts from grinning like a fool during your bit. You seemed so calm and well spoken! I would have been stuttering and gibbering like a fool, between the twin anxieties of appearing (in PJs!) on TV and knowing that ML was near by. Was the bit where Meat told your husband to get out of the bed during the commercial, or did they cut it from the show? (Or perhaps it wasn't included on the ROL clip?) I was looking forward to seeing that part. Was Meat actually singing to you, or was that a tape that we could hear?

Oh, please tell Ellis that this 34 year old American Mom thinks he's quite the hunk! I love the part where Graham says "we'd like to see that" and he furiously shakes his head no. What a good sport!

I know that your GN rendevouz with Meat will be something that you will remember forever!

Only Dottie knows for sure :) I guess they must have cut it from the show ...... it wasn't on the tape of the show that I got from Caryl. It's a shame (I would have loved to have seen it too ) but the rest of the show was fantastic !! Meat really put on two performances that night, eh? :lol:

Yes, I agree, but it should be a VERY long version then, like 10 minutes or so....then he'd probably have to stop the show for another 10 minutes, for people to pick themselves of the floor......after wich nobody can stand up straight becasue everybody will have stomach cramps from laughing...

Hi Sherrie they cut the end piece of Roy being told to get out of bed by Meat shame :cry: I was living the dream nerves didn't come into it, until 24 hours later when I realised what I'd taken part in with Meat. Yes Meat did sing to me down the phone live and yes he did sing to me live in bed :!: Ellis sends his love he is a good lad and a good sport for taking part. and as u say I will always remember this dream.
