That's got to be the best thing i've seen in a long time ~ she's fantastic.
Just one question though, why is it that children do the pointy finger thing ~ laughs ~ my daughter does it too when she's singing along to Meat Loaf. ames xx |
My daughter Hazel has been brought up on MeatLoaf. Now at 5 going on 15 we do an impressive intro to 'you took the words...' and it is hysterical watching her try to clap and sing along to the end of the song.
The other day we were watching the Spiceworld movie and she said 'that sounds like Meat Loaf' - she started dancing around the room when I said it was. Do you think this 'fan' thing is genetic??? |
absoultly is genetic i rekon lol her dad is a huge fan too she used to do the intro to took the words right out of my mouth when she was about two bless her lol

ok just got online so nobody jump on me for replying late.
Emma that was a bit crappy, a child singing anything is cute and i think it's even better that it's a Meat song. I just think that if in the future i posted a vid of Casey singing a Meat song and someone was as rude as that then i would feel like tearing their head off. As far as worse being said by others, yes that's true and they should be pulled up on it but that doesn't exscuse this comment i'm sorry, i know people close to me don't agree with me but those are my feelings. Yes one of Em's outbursts did cause me to contact M when he first came to us to point out that not everyone is like that so  swings and roundabouts i guess lol. |
Hey dont bring me into this lol!!!

My Boys have had a steady Meat Loaf diet since they were born. Hubby thinks that they are brain washed. They both come running in and point out to me when ever Meat comes on the radio - they know all the words by heart. It is great to hear a 11 year old boy sings "Like A Bat Out of Helllll" at the end of the song. I just cant wait to hear him when his voice starts breaking (cruel mother).
I even got a phone call from the other side of Australia the other day when a Mother and her grown daughter who was brought up on Meat were in the coffee shop arguing over when BOOH I was released in Australia. Guess who got it right. (Anne hide your head in shame) ;) Without the younger generation this music will get lost. Now that I have a video camera I might have to see if I can get some of my oldest singing to BOOH. I thought the rendition of Paradise was lovely. When my boys get into the car they ask for me to change the song to Monster and sing along to that - If any of their friends happen to climb into that car they have to listen to it as well. Monster nearly lasts from our front gate till the shops in town, which is about 10 kms Ha Ha. I am brainwashing a whole generation of Esperance kids :D Anyway, have to go and get a couple of kids to go to sleep. Bye All. |

I know a lot of people consider me to be one of the "younger" Meat fans as I'm very much of the Bat II generation, but had it not been for me singing Anything For Love at the top of my voice in the bath, or my best friend and I singing our hearts out to Martha and changing the words, I'd never be the fan that I am now with the enthusiasm and passion that I have for Meat's music... Whether we're discussing Meat or anyone else I think it's a real positive thing to see young people enjoying music from this generation which otherwise would be lost  |
