Exactly right Caryl. I talked to her after the show at the MSG during the Bat 3 tour ... she's a very sweet, down to earth young woman and I wish her the best of luck in her career :-)

All of the above comments are correct. Amanda has come on stage for a song or two over various tours and has had a bit part in a few of Meat's movies. She's also appeared in a few of his music videos.

Amanda focuses on the acting side of things. In addition to South Dakota, she has also filmed a new movie called Restoration Dogs, a parody of the film Reservoir Dogs set in Restoration era London.

It's not a bit part. Amanda plays one of Joy's neighbors and is part of a scheme that is central to the plot of the episode. She gets more screen time in this episode than she did in most episodes of Carnivale.

Haven't seen it...Carnivale was enough for me for a while...
