I'd be happy if he did one or two songs from WTTN. He seems to have neglected it these days. Some of the songs are awesome live. He did a concert in Ireland in 1996, it was the first one I ever saw, and he did a few songs from WTTN and I loved it.

Same here. WTTN appears more like a "concept album" to me than HCTB. HCTB with WTTN like artwork and without Patrick = f*cking cool. ;) I wasn't very fond of the fillers 45 Seconds and Fiesta at first but when I listened to the CD again a few days ago I thought they work in the context of the album. But I noticed that the main reason why I used to like the Diane Warren songs were the videos that accompanied them. They appear less interesting without the videos, they just aren't rock and they can't compete with Mr. Steinman's tunes. My least favorite song Where Angels Sing is at the end of the track list already, so I don't have to change the order.

He did Amnesty Is Granted on the Casa tour so WTTN is not as neglected as Bad Attitude.

There is a definite drop off in quality towards the end.

I enjoy Where Angels Sing more than Heaven Can Wait. I say HCW in comparison because to me and imo, the subject matter of the two songs is similar.

Well as of 2008 that statement would be true. but E1, i dunno if you were in chat when we were discussing this:

but Modern Girl is one of the songs they have been working with for the tour according to Meat.

Dont know If it'll ever work for the show.

Bat Attitude is a much older album and am I wrong in saying he's not a big fan of it? Which may explain why he doesn't sing any songs from it live anymore, or maybe that's Blind before I stop. I love Bat Attitude another very underrated album. He should bring back "Modern Girl","Sailor to a Siren" and "Nowhere Fast" and do them live.

Amnesty is Granted is great, and works well live. There are seven tracks on WTTN that would be awesome at a Meat concert.

Amnesty in Granted.
Where the Rubber Meets the Road
I'd Lie for you
Runnin for the red light
Original Sin
Where the Rubber meets the road

If I only got one of them for the Dublin show I'd be delighted with myself. :D

Bad Attitude was his best album of the 1980s and he played songs from it live even after Bat II, so he can't dislike it that much. But he's released new and more popular / well-known albums since then, maybe that's why it was dropped.

I'd Lie For You was way more interesting live than on the CD. I also like the 1996 live performances of Original Sin. Meat's voice just sounded awesome and very deep.

That's why I thought you were a girl. You seem to have a soft spot for the tearjerkers. ;)

lol I do love those tearjerkers!! I favor slow/soft songs to the fast songs. Except maybe SOM, POE, TMIL, ITLOTP, LIAL, and BOOH

No that's only a minor mistake because I forgot to include "Left in the Dark". So seven is right. Some people are very sharp eh? ;)

You could say that Monstro. I'd be happy to have it as the intro and the ending. ;)

Don't really consider the last 2 as songs, and always skip them. Never did see the point of them.
