Unfairly Compared? I'd say being compared to Meat Loaf is a bloody big compliment actually!

Is it me or have the media been attacking Meat Recently. First That Observer article which wasnt exactly friendly now this.

I was at the Manchester concert last night when Meat Loaf made reference to an article in the Daily Mirror about Michelle saying she was more attractive that him. As he rightly pointed out, since 1977 people in UK have known that he is a SEX GOD :wink: :wink: and if he wore a dress he would still be more attractive than she is. I think there is something in todays Daily Mirror from Meat Loaf in response that article.

It was slightly better than that Kat... Meat ripped the shit out of here and it was funny as ~~~~... I laughed my arse off and every word of it was true... no word of a lie, he took like 10 minutes just to rip her shitless and it was the longest (and best) intro to Hot Summers Night ever...

Also Meat played almost 3 hours none stop... no breaks or anything... ~~~~ me, thats hardcore.

I think Michelle has a very strong voice, and I agree her size should not matter. Meat has proved that you CAN be an icon despite not being in the expected mould, although I would argue that he has mountains more charisma and talent. But given the opposition in Pop Idol, she's prettyy strong.

I do think though that she's not very bright! She should imo have embraced being compared to a talent like Meat and ridden it for all it was worth .. to have a pop at Meat was I think a foolish thing to do, and may well cost her votes! To have welcomed it might have got some favourable comment from Meat and gained her some.

I agree Meat was very funny in his counter-attack last night .. wickedly done... but with humour :) And he's right .. he does look better in a dress!! And he's always been able to present himself stylishly on stage .. something Michelle has I think yet to learn.

Watched Storytellers earlier - Meat has a great personality & sense of humour too.

I agree 100% if she can sing and perform one fourth as good as Meat she should be grateful.

I also agree that being compared to Meat is a compliment, heck I would love being compared to Meat any day.

I agree I have been a fan of Meat's for 25 years and own most every peice of music that Meat has song and I also agree that Meat has a great personality & sense of humour too. :)
