In "If You Really Want To" I used to think he sang
"...and I love the little dolly that you hold on to"! instead of "I'd love to be the body that you hold on to" I think my versions cuter! Louise x |
I still don't know the right words (perhaps one of you can help), but in the Stone's Jumpin Jack Flash I always hear "I was raised/by two lesbian hags". I suspect that is not right....

Instead of "the sun is just a ball of desire" in Frying pan,
I always sang "the soul is just a fallen desire" 8O 8O |
Very funny this thread. I do this all the time! :))
I thought can't you see my faded Leavis bursting apart to be can't you see my favorite Leavis burning apart... well... it could be... it doesn't change the meaning at least! Patricia ... |
This is cracking me up.
Behind us on the 24th at Wembley, this guy was singing his heart out. Instead of...you took the words right out my mouth, he kept singing...you took the words right out of my MIND! All of us around were laughing so hard we couldn't sing. Was too funny, God bless him, his heart was into it, just into the the wrong words. T |
Blame it on Meat's texan accent!
Patricia ... it's not my mother tongue either! look: :p |
In Bat Out Of Hell I thought the bit that goes "and nothing's ever worth the cost" was "and nothing's ever worth a toss"
and in More Than You Deserve "I won't throw you no curves" was "I won't throw you no curse" |
I always thought it said "Back on Thai food again" Not Diet food on Shania Twains What A Way To Wanna Be
|
[quote="LostSoul"]Blame it on Meat's texan accent!

The first time I listened to Tear Me Down I understood on the spoken part this: ... He grew into a big man, with a big voice. And he sings big songs and has big TITS!!!!! 8O instead, of course, of BIG HITS!!!
Well........... he played in Fight Club.......... right? Patricia ... |
OMG Patricia, you crack me up.
But wait...as I recall Sarah Douglas actually sang those lines during the promo tour. Was funny as hell. Rock on LS, T |
My sister couldn't understand why she was getting funny looks whilst singing along to Shania Twain's 'That Don't Impress Me Much' - the correct lyrics are
'i can't believe you kiss your car goodnight' and she was singing 'i can't believe you kiss your c*ck at night'.... 8O |
