lol I was thinking about that earlier RJ...I was debating whether I want to read your post with the set list in, and how I can avoid it if I don't!

mszee 17 Oct 2007 18:57

When you get a pet first...especially a dog...it never occurs to you how it will be...that you will worry about them as if it was your child...and grief for them should something happen...

I have a question for dog owners...

I have a female Pug 8 years old. About a week ago she started without fail going every evening behind the couch and promptly getting stuck there...after which fact she sits there stuck for a while and then starts crying softly...

Can anybody figure out why she is doing this all of a sudden??? Please remember...we're dealing here with extremely intelligent dog as dogs go...

AndyK 17 Oct 2007 19:01

She probably does it because she's inately stupid and also a creature of habit. In my experience dogs only have to do something twice in a row for it to become a habit ... even if it's something that isn't very clever like getting stuck.

Andy...I had this dog for almost 8 years now...and lived in this house with this couch for about 7...she just started doing it about a week ago? But every day without a fail...

AndyK 17 Oct 2007 19:07

For all their outward intelligence, dogs are nothing but stomachs on legs ... could it be that the first night she found a little snack there and since then has gone back expecting another one to be there?

Stomach on legs...good description...no matter how much they love us...the love food MORE...

One of their favorite people is my ex...:?

Reason being that when he shows up he always has treats for them...we can't even say words "food" and "treat"...we say..."F word" (hahahahaha) and "T word"...

She might have found something...I have a Yorkie...he is a conniving thief...he steals stuff and hides it all over...especially in his bed...we found wallet there once...if something in the house is missing...we know where to look...so he might have dropped something behind the couch...for him it's no problem...he is 2 pounds full grown...for her...it's a different story...horse...

Well, I saw one today with my own eyes.

The guy is standing in left turn only lane with left turn only signal light. Across from him stands a cop's car turning right into the same direction. Left turn only light turns yellow and then red and they guy cuts off the cop who was about to turn right and turns left himself...

Well, give you one guess what I've seen when my turn came to turn left...oh yeah...big surprise...the guy is standing with cop's car behind him...geez...

There's a much better way to do that Emma, you slice through the sellotape with a very sharp knife, carefully unwrap it, find out what it is, then re-wrap using the original paper and new sellotape.

Discovery made, no broken parts.
