Lots of things to be sad about.... My last Meat Loaf show, last few days in the UK.... But I think the most important one is..... The Smiler at Alton Towers isn't open.....

There's a lot to be sad about at the moment.

I've been to what is probably my LAST EVER Meat show, my M&G photo from Nottingham is terrible and will require a bit of Photoshopping to make it fit to show anyone, I'm back at work today and next week I have both a hospital appointment and my surgery

Ugh, I'll stop there before I get too depressed.

I'm sure the photo isn't as bad as you think! I remember seeing you with your hat on up on the screen for a moment!
Hope hospital isn't too bad.

Yeah that would have been me with the hat on. The main problem with the pic is the look on my face, I look a bit startled which is not what I was hoping for but the challenge of fixing the photo will do me good. ;)

I thought she did well on the roads round here (even with me getting confused with lefts and rights when I was directing her)

Looks like I can't make the Newmarket show now because of a training course I have to go on for work. It's typical as it is by far the closest of all recent shows over the years yet I'll be in flipping Middlesborough then. Oh well. Maybe Newbury is still on the (race)cards.

I don't think you should "fix" anything...the pic might not be what you'd hoped for in your head (and who doesn't have pics like that) but it captures the moment and how you felt at the time. The pic might not be what you hoped for but it's real - you have a pic of Meat making your eyes pop, that ain't a bad thing ;)

Should probably add I was going to Manchester before he wrote that! :-P

LucyK! 23 May 2013 17:31

Must admit I did have a bit of a face-palm moment when Meat posted their plans (in a thread which came up on Facebook and Twitter!) ... can imagine groups of fans turning up at Manchester cinemas! :?

Guy 23 May 2013 17:47

Maybe they went in trekkies disguise.
Paul as spock?

As a rule I can usually tell whether or not I need to open a thread just by looking at the title and the author!
