I think we all remember Tim what happened at Wembley on this day in 2003, I was there, on a more personal note:-

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life...
(Come on guys, cheer up!)
Always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the bright side of life...
(Worse things happen at sea, you know.)
Always look on the bright side of life...
(I mean - what have you got to lose?)
(You know, you come from nothing - you're going back to nothing.
What have you lost? Nothing!)
Always look on the right side of life.

I'm trying to trace my mother - haven't heard or seen from her for 54 years!

I don't know whether I'm doing the right thing - the need just gets stronger as the years pass to have some kind of closure:|

ChloeLee88 25 Nov 2005 00:32

too much work...not enough time argggggghhh college!!!!

Tim 25 Nov 2005 02:06

...this download is going very slow.... 4.8 kb/sec.... long way to go...

Hypnobabe 25 Nov 2005 15:24

Did the same thing a few years ago Dottie, traced my father after 27 years and discovered I have another sister and two brothers.... Don't really have any contact now but at least I know now :-)

dottie 25 Nov 2005 17:39

Hynobabe - well I have a sister in OZ, and we are in contact daily by e mail.......

I have a brother somewhere but have not seen him since April 1970, and as for my mother, I do not know even if she is still alive..

As you say the knowing makes things easier to accept .......... I must admit sometimes I am frightened of opening a can of worms, that I cann't close again.......

Leah 25 Nov 2005 19:57

Ahhh I hope it all goes well for you dottie on your journey of discovery and I hope you find all the answers that you've longed seeked, good or bad....

I've had bad day today, skidded in my car this morning going to work and its the first time i've ever skidded, which shook me up slightly. I passed my test in Febuary just gone and still kinda learning, I was only going about 10 mph, thankfully I wasn't going any faster, dread to think what could have happened......guess its one of lifes learing curves.............

Dang and blast!!!

I am trying to create a video CD for someone, I have converted the videos to the right format and tidied them up, designed and programmed a terrific kick-ass menu system and burnt the lot to disc.

The only problem is that I can't find the DVD controls anywhere to test the chuffing thing!!

Pudding 29 Nov 2005 21:11

Imagine my surprise when clicking on the UKFC link on my favourites, to find 288 'new posts' when in fact less than 10 of of them was actually any relevance to Meat Loaf at all
