I may be stepping into this position (held by one woman for 20 years) with only a handful of years experience... But I'm quickly gaining a new pet peeve. Stop telling me what Ms. Pace did and expecting me to do the job exactly like her. Ugh!!!

Maybe I should put a sign on the door... Either

A). "Whatever you are accustomed to in this room, do not expect it to be entirely the same with me now!"

OR

B). "The only pace still in this library is....slow. Slow pace when walking or reading. Enjoy!"

Sigh!!!!! This comparison problem is gonna get old quick, that is for sure.... :P LOL ;)

It'll stop happening soon enough when people see you know what you're doing.
In the meantime, you might hear a few things that are actually good ideas :)
