But I don't see how no wreckage has been found. I mean even bits of AF447 were found by now. 777 is an amazing bit of kit. In the 2 decades it's been flying there has only been 1 crash with fatalities before now. Even then only 2 people died, even one of those was due to the ambulance running them over not the crash. BA had a pretty serious incident when one of theirs engines failed, a few hundred feet off the ground, but glided to safety with minor injuries to those on board. Even if the MH 777 engines died. They were at 35000ft and could have easily glided to safety. |
