How to Train Your Dragon
it's so GOOD!!! |
The Town for the second time in the cinema. It's great.
|
how to train your dragon, house, and the town. WOOT GO ME
|
I watched Lovely Bones last night. I don't quite know what to say. It left me a bit emotionally drained for a bit after. Although I'd never want her as a mom, thank Loaf for a bit of comic relief in the form of Susan Sarandon's performance. The character of the murderer just had to be about the most horrid creature ever to come on screen. Nearing film's end, I had to turn away from him and those eyes of his... looking... watching... watching... creeped me out badly ... I'm not sure I'll ever watch this film again. It was excellently done, imo, but I can't say I enjoyed it due to subject matter.

The Social Network, pretty good!!
|
 Sharpe's Sword
Be a couple more Sharpe movies on tonight. |
Boogeyman.
I have to say it was a brilliant film. |
Made in Dagenem. Those women at the time were amazing. Luv cx
|
Revenge Of The Nerds ... a fave film and pretty topical with all the talk of bullying going on ...
|
RED at the cinema on Friday night - a good laugh, reminiscent of Ocean's Eleven and the Die Hard movies in that they don't take themselves too seriously and you don't particularly need a switched on brain to watch it.
V for Vendetta this morning, now moved on to one of my favourite films - Million Dollar Baby - get the tissues ready! |
Schindler's List last night, and An Officer and a Gentleman this morning - well it is half term, and hubby's away again...
|
 Casino.
One of those films i've never got round to watching before, but it was well worth the wait. A lot of the same cast as Goodfellas, Joe Pesci was his brilliant self, as was Robert De Niro. I especially like the way Casino (and Goodfellas) are narated by the characters as the film progresses. After that it was Sharpe's Justice and Sharpe's Waterloo. |
Evita with Antonio Banderas and Madonna
|
Just watching Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. That Harley-Davidson that Shia LaBeouf rides is NOT a 1950s bike. The engine looks like the Twin Cam model which was introduced in the late 1990s and the frame is apparently Softail. :wtf:
|
Sid & Nancy. Is that how she really died ? It was gory to say least and sad.
|
Since I last posted, I've watched Schindler's List, Harry Brown, Music and Lyrics, Ever After, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory....
|
Happy Saturday meatie peeps ...
I woke some time after 2am this morning and channel surfed to the last bit of Public Enemies starring the deppie one !

 Oscar, a comedy starring Sly Stalone.
Action movie guys usually suck in comedy movies, but Oscar is a pretty funny movie about a gangster trying to live up to his promise to his dying father to go straight. |
Thunderball. As boring as I remembered it and pretty disjointed too.
|
Paranormal Activuty 2.
A couple of really creepy moments, but on the whole, not as good as the first one. |
Murder In The First, followed by Sleepers... And I'm currently watching Bright Lights, Big City....
|
In Search Of Eric.
Despite being a bit pointlessly shouty it's a pretty good story and the three coach loads of Cantonas at the end made it worthwhile on it's own. |
Saw 3D....
|
The Kid with Bruce Willis. No matter how many times I've seen it, I still really enjoy it :-)
