Cement the world to me.

In a world of anti Trump stupid sheep celebrities, Joy Villa was exceptionally clever to turn this on its head and probably secure herself a decent /improved pop music career from now on wearing her "Make America Great Again" dress at this year's Grammy's. Hats off.

But I guess being the President and calling out a store because they are not selling his daughter's failing clothing line, or undermining judges because they follow the law and constitution is okay?

I changed my mind. Celebrities and other folks need to be vocal because there is no telling what will happen if he gets under the radar.

tonyloaf 13 Feb 2017 17:26

espresso please

It was not my point. There is no point me debating politics with you anymore.

Regardless, every leader of course needs to have his or her actions scrutinised, whether you agree with what they stand for and do or not. Whether it's Barry Obama, Donnie Trump, Geert Wilders or Mark "1000 Euro" Rutte.

My point here was Joy Villa seized a perfect marketing opportunity:

Ahh my bad. I missed it because of the 'anti Trump stupid sheep celebrities' opening.

Indeed you did, since I was attacking celebrities for their sheepish hypocritical attitude towards politicians or reactions to what is in the news rather than attacking actual politicians or their policies in that opening.

This particular woman could have voted for Hillary or for one of the independents or not at all for all I know. It doesn't really bother me. I was merely fascinated by her dress in amongst the usual anti Trump rhetoric now associated with awards shows and what has subsequently happened to her record sales.

If you think the celebrities at awards shows are doing a great job that's fine with me. I think a lot of their speeches are typical hot air from the NIMBY-ism kind.

Regardl

You know politics is heated topic and will ALWAYS invite debate. People have such different opinions. If you truly don't want to debate politics, then don't post about it!

stretch37 14 Feb 2017 09:49

missing Meat Loaf...Ah, I hope he's doing well

duke knooby 16 Feb 2017 00:57

why don't media news outlets just give us the news, rather than turning it into a story on how we should think or feel?

duke knooby 17 Feb 2017 11:46

bolts 6mm to long, good practice says measure twice, cut once...

Me, estimate once, cut once

Precision engineering :)

duke knooby 17 Feb 2017 12:00

Actually good practice would say use the correct length bolt lol

duke knooby 17 Feb 2017 19:26
