In other news...here I am...running around telling people that Sopranos is a slander of Italian Americans and I live in NJ and never met one... Well, guess what...turns out I did...Tuesday police and FBI nabbed a mob family, it made all national news...and I know at least 2 members for years and years... Now...we're not talking about some fixed horse racing or anything like that...we're talking about 4.3 million a day and 2.2 billion overall business involving drugs, illegal gambling, money laundering, etc....so the question is...why is it that one worked as a hair dresser for many years standing day after day cutting hair of the clients and the other always wore a track suit apparently always the same one??? Em...over to you...I don't have the answer... |

Hubby's been home for about eleven hours, and has just had a call resulting in a trip to the local hospital - apparently at his works 'closedown for Christmas' do this afternoon, one of the girls who works for him collapsed with a massive brain haemorrhage...
There's no word yet on what her condition is, but she had to be given CPR until the ambulance arrived... What a brilliant start to Christmas... My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family... |

The rat that has been living in my flat is on its last legs, he's just lying there not moving just breathing and twitching every now and then, I've put the waste paper basket over him I couldn't face putting him out in the cold if he's dying and Michael's going to sort him out in the morning hopefully he'll just slip away in the night but i'm gonna miss the little fellah!! Michael on the other hand will be so happy as he has to sleep 12ft away from the kitchen!!

finished all shopping now too,thank god,wennt Bluewater friday,total nightmare,two hours to get there,two hours back,people everywhere,thought i would end up in a straight jacket by the end of the day.spare a thought for Neil,he is on his way down from Liverpool on national express coach to spend xmas and new year with us,had a phone call from him a couple of hours ago,the coach has broken down 60 miles outside London on the motorway and they are waiting for a replacement,standing in the freezing cold,one coach turned up but drove straight passed them,hope he aint gotta wait too much longer or he will be frozen to the spot and will need plenty of lemsips over xmas (bless him ),he should of been here a couple of hours ago so Jo is walking round with a face like a boot !
