Original, weird but intriguing little horror I thought.

Victor Frankenstein. 3/5. Actually quite captivating. Daniel Radcliffe was good but James McAvoy was excellent. A little bit small scale overall but enjoyable enough couple of hours.

Saw it in 4DX, actually twice!

Stunning effects and a real intriguing story and well acted I thought. Really cool film. Hope they get to make some sequels with the same cast and crew. Great job.

Haha, we really don't have the same taste. I saw it with my wife (a WoW player/fan) and we left after 40 minutes :lol:

Worst thing I saw since Avatar

I'm really more into 70's/80's movies these days and staying home and watching those, but the last thing I saw in cinemas was The Revenant.

conjuring 2... enjoyed it

Thought it was one of the best horror films since Poltergeist (the original). Immensely good.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies 3/5 quite entertaining but never really made the most out of the premise. Great to see Matt Smith on screen again, stealing the film in a hilarious role that would otherwise have been unnoticeable.

Hail Caesar! 2/5 gently amusing series of scenes that don't really feel like they gel together into a single film. Channing Tatum and George Clooney are both excellent. Overall though makes little impact on you. Entirely forgettable.

My Nieces and nephew visited today. They wanted to see Jurassic World on the big screen. So we played it on the beamer.

I kinda forgot how incredibly poor this movie is. Not just the acting or the characters. But also the directing and visual effects.

Now I rember why I called this the worst blockbuster of 2015

Star Trek Beyond 3/5 ok entertaining enough but fairly forgettable.

Jason Bourne 4/5 thrilling from start to finish. Yes it's the exact same plot yet again but when they do it this well who cares?

Agreed. One of the most fun movies that year.

About to watch it. It passed me by first time around, now I've picked up the extended edition

Ghostbusters 2016

Never funny, never interesting and terrible sfx.

Never minded that it was an all female reboot. But this was even worse than Ghostbusters 2

Conjuring 2 was great. Saw it last month in the cinema. Even better than the first one, which I also enjoyed.

They should have had THAT director for a new Ghostbusters. Use same Conjuring mostly real effects to scare. Put Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson in it to assemble a new team as the threat of very scary ghosts is too much for them to handle on their own (beginning of movie indicates ghost busting has dried up again, Stantz looking bored in the HQ, all of a sudden call goes, now a huge threat appears, that threatens well beyond New York. Put in plenty of comedy (sort of rookie Ghostbusters mistakes etc). Appearance of Bill Murray if possible, if not don't matter. Get Ray Parker Jr to do the song again. Call it Ghostbusters Reassemble and it could have been ~~~~ing awesome and biggest movie of the year.

At least the shitty feminist Ghostbusters movie made me go out and buy the PS3 game. Not new but as close to a Ghostbusters 3 we will ever get I guess.

Apparently that shitty director/ writer Paul Feig was bullied at school as a child, had no friends and never processed things properly and uses his movies to make some social statement. He only seems to make men hating, feminist movies. Ridiculous Sony went with that for one of the biggest movie franchises in the world. The merchandise takings must have been astronomical for years. As a kid it was the only action figure stuff I used to play with and many of my friends in The Netherlands were the same. Now they have destroyed the franchise completely. Glad the people behind the new Star Wars reboot had more brains to do things right and include fun and make it fun for everyone, not just feminist women.

Have no problem with women as lead characters, many of my favourite movies include exactly that but when you blatantly go about trying to include hate towards men I do not think this is progress at all. A beloved movie franchise is definitely not something you can experiment that crap with regardless. 2 guys 2 women Ghostbusters, no crude sex or racism jokes ("That stuff went everywhere, in every crack.... Is this a black thang or a woman thang?... etc" and no only stupid men would have been far more interesting and appreciated by all audiences, especially many children again. This new Ghostbusters crap is just an expensive Bridesmaids in disguise. Quite astonishing that the first Ghostbusters movie (32 years old) is far less racist and far less sexist than the 2016 version.

Plenty of time, plenty of terrible movies to watch

Sneekweek (Dutch horror)
Kinda of a homage to the 80's slasher movies. Unfortunately a very bad one. No characters to root for (except perhaps for the killer), kinda dumb kills (movies like this need over the top and gore kills) and a plot as thin as a piece of paper (it's not good when you know who dunnit before the first kill). Overall I kinda enjoy Nederhorror but this was not one of them.

Watched the trailer. Looks just like Friday the 13th set near a Dutch lake.

I don't remember Sneek looking like that. I've been there. Isn't it a town with a nice bridge? I guess Sneekermeerweek sounds a bit too long. ;-)

Too bad Dick Maas no longer does good movies. De Lift and Amsterdamned are great.

A few kills are basically copied from different Friday movies. In the end it's more a Scream copy though with the storyline of I know what you did last summer

... and the acting of 'Goede tijden, slechte tijden' :lol:

Jungle Book 2016. Beautiful genius. 5 star.

Not in the same league as the original.

A few plot issues, some unneeded and far fetched characters that made the movie silly and a much thinner/weaker storyline made this movie okay-ish at best.

Well made, some nice winks to Disney's animated movie from 1967(?) but visual effects not always too stunning.
