And that was fully rectified, new lights installed and dodgy wiring sorted today...

By ME!!!!! lol

RadioMaster 06 Feb 2008 19:34

umm....excuse me people:

*steps onto soap box*

Lucy, I am very proud of you that you built a gas-chair-that-goes-up-and-down-thing all by yourself!

*climbs down from soapbox again*

that cleared now? :bleh:

RadioMaster 06 Feb 2008 19:37

mszee 06 Feb 2008 19:38

And I still don't know what gas chair is...is it anything like gas chamber?

LucyK! 06 Feb 2008 19:42

lol it's not gas as in gas...it's one of those with a lever underneath so adjust the height, I only said gas because that's what it said on the instructions, no idea what it means!

Got it...you assembled swivel chair by yourself?

I did that once too!!!!

Once was enough...

Problem is I don't read instructions...I just go and do it by way of trial and error...as you can imagine...with such a trial...there is plenty of error...

RadioMaster 06 Feb 2008 19:56

last time i built one of those i stuck the gas tank in upside down, you cant imagine how much work it was to get the thing out again lol

The Premier League have just announced that from the 2010-2011 season there will be a round of football matches played abroad over a weekend every January.

Suggestions have been put forward for China, Australia and America.

Middlesborough spokesman has already put a statement out that they'd be happy to try Europe at some point first!!!!!!!!!

RadioMaster 07 Feb 2008 19:36

they should come here, so they can see what proper football looks like :p

It's all down to the ancient Babylonians, who decided there should be 360 degrees in a circle. I think it's linked to some of the ratios and measures of the sides and radius of a hexagon, and also linked to the base 60 numbering system, but can't be arsed to go and find out.

duke knooby 07 Feb 2008 23:53

why a hexagon? why babylonians?

AndyK 08 Feb 2008 00:02

Because they were cleverer than we were 4500 years ago!
