The Episode of Monk staring Meat Loaf is on tomorrow in the UK on ITV4 @ 15:55
make sure you set your DVD recorders :D

LucyK! 22 Feb 2013 13:21

We'd not seen the Monk episode so recorded it on Tuesday (thanks for the heads up)

After an epically s**t day yesterday we watched it and it was just outstanding!! One of the best TV parts I think Meat's ever done, we laughed out loud!

Stunning work Mr Loaf, loved it

JennaG 22 Feb 2013 13:36

I've yet to see this and I was in Bristol all day on Tuesday but hopefully I'll catch it at some point.

As Lucy said, it was a great, enjoyable performance from Meat.

It highlighted to me what a great Grandfather he's going to be, almost makes me want to be 6 again just to see the magic he'd create.

JennaG 22 Feb 2013 20:58

I decided to buy the episode from iTunes.

Meat's going to be on The One Show (UK) at 7pm tomorrow night on BBC 1. Should be good as Chris Evans is presenting and we know he's a fan!

Yeah, we caught that as we turned over to watch Eastenders. We don`t really watch The One Show, but we will tomorrow ;)

Monstro 28 Mar 2013 22:24

I'm out but will set Sky+ now

12.30 ITV Meat's on Loose Women

LucyK! 02 Apr 2013 10:58

We need another lunch time chat show, can't keep watching Loose Women

LucyK! 02 Apr 2013 14:27

On an hour long show I'd have hoped they have given him a little more than 6 minutes but there you go, good to see him, and he seems a lot more "Meat Loaf" than he did on Friday, if that makes sense?!

duke knooby 02 Apr 2013 18:57

He appeared in very good form :)

Vickip 02 Apr 2013 19:58

YouTube Video

RSG 02 Apr 2013 20:30

Thanks Vici! With Meat sitting between the Loose women with the purples and blues with the sketching; anyone say Guilty Pleasure DVD :)

After seeing this I'd like to see a show where some of the ladies on this forum talking with Meat Loaf.

I never thought about the DVD .. lol ... but I like your idea about the ladies on the forum

And thanks Monstro for fixing my post :D For some reason I always have a problem when I post YouTube links on here :-)

Nice interview on Loose Woman, (I HAD TO SIT THROUGH THE WHOLE SHOW FOR HIM DAMMIT) But Meat seemed in good spirits, lively as always- looking healthy, younger (hair dye?) and above all made me more excited for this concert than ever - Lord I cannot wait for for cryin out loud to come on (although I can as it would be close to the end of the night)

Cherry.Loaf 03 Apr 2013 09:07

I'm just glad there weren't any bananas there to give him food poisoning again!

I think he was going to mention how he'd not been well the last time he was there but the host stopped him because they'd run out of time.

It was a shame that he had so little time really.

For the lucky few that didn't have to watch the whole show...there was a debate/discussion earlier in the show about education and teachers, they raised some great points and the audience were behind it and I wondered if that was allowed to over-run? That was at the beginning of the show so I wondered if, by the time they'd done everything else, Meat (who was the very last thing on the show) was basically given the time that was left?

Thanks for posting the video guys, only a week to go :-)

The Ballad of Lucy Whipple is on 'Movie Mix' now...started at 10am but still plenty of Meat I'm sure.

For me it's worth watching just to hear him shouting "Miss Lucy!"
