When I come here and see some one is listening to some thing from Pandora's Box, I'm reminded I should pull out the cd and give a listen. I haven't in some time. I'm very fond of Ellen Foley and knew of her before Meat came onto my radar. I didn't know her for her singing, but her acting. She played the assistant DA on Night Court prior to Markie Post taking the role and I remember missing her alot. I preferred Ellen's character's style to Markie's. Ellen's was all New Yawk spunk ... lol ... She reminded me of Liza Minelli when Liza was spunky. There was a time, you know... lol ...

Ellen Foley doesn't really do a whole lot on Original Sin :shrug: just a spoken word piece and the two non Steinman songs, which I usually skip as they aren't the best. The Meat :bleh: of the vocals are done by Elaine Caswell and Gina Taylor. :yep:

Oh, yes. The monologue, sounding as though she's on a stage ? Sounding very angry ... lol ... Is that called Little Red Book or something like that ? I like it...

I'm still listening to Mozart. I'm very fond of this piece ~ Piano Sonata In A Major, K. 331 ... or so it's listed on the cd... :lol: ...

She does The Invocation (the darker than sin speech) and The Want Ad, which is what you're talking about. Plus Twentieth Century Fox and My Little Red Book, which are cover songs. The album is typical Steinman: some fantastic songs and piles and piles of filler. :roll:
