Is it me... or is it cold?

LucyK! 18 Jan 2007 14:32

It's bloody freezing, got numb feet and the wind is howling through the window pane

Chris 18 Jan 2007 14:37

Window panes are luxuries.
The shop next door lost theirs an hour since.
I am debating hiding in the cellar for a week!!

LucyK! 18 Jan 2007 14:38

It is like war time in Halifax isn't it ;)

Chris 18 Jan 2007 14:41

If I'm not here tomorrow then send supplies for me and the munchkins as we will be off to see the wizard!!!

And now I am off as that ominous crash sounded distinctly like my chimney stack hitting the road!!

Strictly speaking I think Halifax is still actualyl at war with someone ...

Just had to dodge the bin bags and wheelies bins coming back into to work. Made it safe though, and there were no chickens on the road today!

Betty 18 Jan 2007 15:13

Our neighbours pantiles are scattered down the road...
Big trees, traffic signs and the road lights were already blown down...

I wish I was going to school again. No school here today and tomorrow because of that heavy hurricane!!!
People were asked by radio and television announcements not to go out today between 4p.m. and 9p.m.
Great, I have to work, so I have to go out lol

So can anyone tell me how itīll be possible for me to arrive at work without being hit by a pantile or something else thatīs flying around???? :panic: :angst:

Itīs the worst storm in our cityīs history here. About 150km/h
Nobody is on the streets, the kids were told to leave school at 12.30am and go straight home, if they couldnt go home (busses, trains arent driving) they can stay in school overnight.

Itīs like in one of those apocalypse-movies.

I just hope our windows wont break.

Yes that was the most embarrassing display i have witnessed and i have seen a few. No bottle no fight pathetic.
They need to buy some defender's and quick. Kids have done well but seem's it was one game to far.
I felt sorry for Shearer having to sit with Hanson being a total tit. Still like always we will have blind loyalty and keep going. We might just win the UEFA cup.

Mick Loaf 18 Jan 2007 19:28

I'm happy cause football training has been cancelled, it's too cold.

Chris 18 Jan 2007 19:57

Apparently today is the most popular day of the year to go out on a date!

I gotta get a new computer, or, to put it another way......

This computer's about as much use as a Premier League fixture list to a Sunderland fan!!!!!!!!

JanT 18 Jan 2007 23:56

What have I done to deserve this?

mszee 19 Jan 2007 00:08

Maybe it's not a good idea to sleep while driving...especially when it's snowing...

And honestly...I wasn't sleeping...I was just daydreaming...

JanT 19 Jan 2007 00:09

With your eyes closed and sending out Zed's?

mszee 19 Jan 2007 00:12

Eyes opened...but glazed over...I did say I was daydreaming...didn't I???
