Angela Lansbury played Mrs. Lovett on the broadway??? WOW

RadioMaster 23 Mar 2008 21:19

was surprised as well....didnt think the role suited her at first, she gives it a different touch, but not a bad one

Betty 23 Mar 2008 21:23

Actually, Angela Landsbury originated the role of Mrs. Lovett on Broadway...I understand she was brilliant...

She played quite a few nasties while young.

Betty 24 Mar 2008 14:47

He seems to confuse portraying "evil" and portraying "cookie monster" :wtf:

Interestingly he was the first one to do both roles live, before him all the Hyde parts were recorded on tape and the voice was alienated.

Rob Evan probably did the best job at it, take a look for confrontation from the 2006 J&H ressurection album.

(or give me your email adress :bleh:;))

Battybarb 24 Mar 2008 16:29

Nice relaxing afternoon after the kids have gone home, work tomorrow....oh crap......

RadioMaster 24 Mar 2008 16:46
