Haven't seen that film for ages, and it was on telly last night.

As was the remake of The Italian Job, which is what I watched.

Not the last film but the last new one we saw was White Noise...what a disappointment!!! I'd heard so many horrror stories about how frightening it was blah blah blah, I even insisted on watching it in daylight, so I was so disappointed when it didn't even half live up to what I'd been promised. I'm the jumpiest person I know, so if it didn't scare me then that's how bad it was :lol:

i was worried as its a german movie but the whole story took place in the us, i was afraid that it türned into one of those typical-melancholic german movies (you know what i mean)

yes I do! and i had those worries aswell... I´m really not a fan of german movies but that one was absolutely amazing!!! Go and see it, honestly. It´s well worth a watch!

Ok i had a filmfest!! Underworld (again) The Bucket List and I Am Legend!! But how come i was more upset about the dog dying in I Am Legend than Carter dying in The Bucket List!!! And why did I Am Legend have the same affect on me as Signs did?!!!

OK I did a lot of flying so i watched Juno, Gone Baby Gone, King of California, the end of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium as well as the beginning of some other films and then falling asleep from boredom!!!!

Vantage Point last night at the cinema, and I'm just watching Atonement.

Picked up Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny for £3 at Tesco today, so that got an airing tonight.

what did you think of it? I personally was expecting it to be better, but it was enjoyable enough. Been a big fan of 'the D' for many years now. You should, if you haven't already, check out their 'Meisterworks' DVD - it's a live acoustic concert filmed in England, as well as all of the TV stuff they've done, and the videos for 'Tribute' and 'Wonderboy' etc. Top rate stuff indeed. well worth a watch or ten.

I think that describes the movie the best. opening with kickapoo i would have expected something more musical like, but soon it went down to a 'common' comedy with a few song elements. Liked it though.

Incidently I digged the dvd out again last night, cant believe how much they put on two discs. The brixton academy show is very good, also put it on my ipod. Another part I really enjoyed was the tour documentary.

I love the original, its astonishing how they can produce the scary atmosphere without all the special effects, etc used today.

yeah you just need some white wigs and a bunch of children.... that´d still scare me nowadays btw :lawl:

Enjoyed it more second time round to be honest, saw it in the cinema when it was released. Managed to get through Meat's appearances unscathed this time. Don't really know alot about them otherwise, but this DVD is enough to add other stuff by them to my shoppiung list.

You should bump it up the list. Watch Shaun Of The Dead first though, although they're only related by lead actors and writers, you'll appreciate them both more having seen them in order.

Seen Shaun of the Dead, was ok, Shaun the Sheep was funnier lol

I completely agree, the fence gag means nothing unless you've seen Shaun first... And they're both in my top ten...

Last thing I watched was The Colour Of Magic which my sister kindly recorded from Sky for me...
