Hello Testify

For anyone who has never done this before: When you finish a toilet roll, you are left with a cardboard tube. If you have a hamster/gerbil/mouse you can put the tube in the cage with them and they will run through the tube before tearing it up to line their beds with.

If you collect tubes, you can push them together to forma little maze for the pest to run around in. If you ahve a paticularly stupid gerbil like mine (called Hamster) used to be, they will run in the tube, get bored and fall asleep. They will then re-emerge look at the tube and run to hide!!!!

... ahhh hamster talk...when i was a wee tink..we had a hamster named Sunny...never figgered if a boy or a girl...but one time it got out and down the heating vent...down the shute...running all night like a wheel..not to slide further..bless my dad...took all the piping apart to get it out...

long ago and far away...i ferget what happened to the poor silly thing...

On the subject of toilet rolls and hammies - let me tell you a funny short story about ours:-

Hubby and son walked into pet shop and asked "got any hamsters mate?"

The pet shop owner replied "Yes, do you need a water bottle?"

Hubby replied "No we've got central heating" :lol:

Hubby thought the owner had said do you want a hot water bottle :lol:

This is true :lol: :oops:
