LucyK! 14 Apr 2008 19:17

LOL Michael you posted what I was thinking  I absolutely swore that the next time it appeared on Ebay it'd be mine regardless of cost, so thank you to whoever put it on there right before Meat tour! 'Cause it ain't happening now!

Don't worry. If I see it listed again, I won't tell anyone. ;)

:raspberry: :lmao:

djfierce 15 Apr 2008 10:34

Maybe Vicki's the one selling it lolol hence agreeing not to tell anyone if it appears AGAIN :lmao: only playing vicki ;)

I actually dont see the need to own absolutely every item released but maybe i'm strange lol so this wouldn't really appeal to me personally but good luck to everyone who wants it ;)

We need to talk!!!!

djfierce 15 Apr 2008 11:39

no we don't

AndyK 15 Apr 2008 11:50

As an old git (and Michael will back me up here I'm sure, since he's an older git :p ), I grew up buying Meat records ... that's the big round black things with grooves on and then transferred to the smaller shinier CD's in an attempt to keep up with the kids. As a result there is something satisfying (and no doubt highly anoraky) about owning Meat's more recent releases on vinyl. Having said that I can sit here looking smug about this auction, since I've got one of these :))

SamCat 15 Apr 2008 11:55

And as we get older its good to have the vinyl cos the print is bigger and easier to read!!!!

djfierce 15 Apr 2008 11:58

lolol it's ok cos if the auction goes too high i will just say the F word ;)

And M you've just let Andy know that you dont have something he does

Exactly! Why do you think I sourced those RAH posters?

:lmao: That merely cancels out the leather jacket which would be my prime target should I ever raid M's collection ;-)

A selling point that wasn't put in the small print of the ebay listing lol

He already knew, hense the smug "guess what I've just bought" text when he got his copy!!!

As for auction going too high... I've set a limit in my head, just hope my heart listens to it lol.

For those who don't know the "F" word is Forgiveness lol

Try Family lol as in 'i'm not a single bloke with an expendable income' :)) in fact one that is gonna get much less expendable as the next couple of months push on ;)

LucyK! 15 Apr 2008 12:34

Being from the cassette/CD era I just love to see the cover art of an album blown up to 12x12" size, which I think is my reasoning for my love of the vinyls. There's something about having the originals that were released on vinyl, like BOOH, but I love my WTTN and Bat III vinyls that look so new (even if some bloke did scribble on the actual Bat III disc! )

LucyK! 16 Apr 2008 10:18

Monstro 16 Apr 2008 10:39

American buyer, I've seen them on a few auctions

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=014

LucyK! 16 Apr 2008 10:43

I'd imagine there would have been a lot more bidders had Meat not been doing shows in two months!! :p

Monstro 16 Apr 2008 10:48

Been less if it hadn't been posted here lol

LucyK! 16 Apr 2008 10:52

:lmao: We should start a forum guideline thread called Ebay Etiquette!
