Dottie - Thought those activities would be far too tame for you!!! ;)

Bren - My own personal friendship quote, not quite as deep as yours but...
"A friend will bail you out of jail.
A TRUE friend will sit beside you in the cell saying "MY GOD THAT WAS AWESOME"

"You're my bread when I'm hungry
You're my shelter from troubled winds
You're my anchor in life's ocean,
But most of all,
You're my best friend."

(not sure who sings it but is from an old country song.)

Hi Bart, just phrases, and if you read them carefully, they make sense, for example:- how many times have you thrown something away only to discover that you need it later.

You need to grow older to mature and experience life.

Do you understand now Bart?

Bart 21 Aug 2003 14:57

Yes, i understand but i was just curios who wrote that stuff, cause it's great.

dottie 21 Aug 2003 15:02

Afraid I cann't answer that, I collect odd pieces of information from all over the place, friends, library books etc., some make me laugh, andsome make me cry, and sometimes I write my own.

Bart 21 Aug 2003 15:12

it's great, i mean it! :o :D

Bart 21 Aug 2003 15:18

dottie 21 Aug 2003 15:20

Pain the A..'s are my speciality

Bart 21 Aug 2003 15:25

What do you mean by that?

It doesn't matter what other people think of you, be true to yourself, and no one else, you are who you are, always look deeper than skin to find the true worth of a person - do you understand that :??:

Bart 21 Aug 2003 15:43

Yes, i understand. but it is difficult. When years go by, the spirit grows more and more.

Freedom of the spirit is the very essence of who we are,and when we meet our maker in the sky, I don't believe for one minute that we are non-existent anymore.I believe that the soul, our very being is abstract, (which means you cann't feel, touch, smell, see, ) that person, so it will never die, and henceforth our life on earth, should be as a free spirit, be who you are Bart, I know I am at 53 and if I alienate some people who don't understand me, more their pity. Um I ranting a little aren't I

Bart 21 Aug 2003 15:56

i am who i am, more and more. Cause i never say it, but i have a tough life for the last 2 years and because of that i know my strenghth and weakness. Are you who you are?

dottie 21 Aug 2003 16:08

Oh yes, most definitly, I have experienced every emotion there is, and still managed to stay a very spiritual person, I never ever judge anyone who doesn't believe in my ideals, we are all individuals, different in character, likes, dislikes etc., I am a happy, go lucky person, love to have conversations like this, and always have believed that anyone in this life who carries out evil deeds, will have them come back to haunt them, and that the good people amongst us will live on for ever, in peoples minds and hearts, purely because they made such a impression whilst here in the living form.

Bart 21 Aug 2003 16:14

Somehow i knew that from the very first post you post here. That was when i say: don't you ever lose it (you know your humor).
