Hopefully with the event being limited numbers they might calm down and not be so keen to rush people through...the signings I did back in 2003 were great as ML was allowed to get on and do what he wanted, for however long he wanted, they were so relaxed.

If anyone by chance happens to have a spare ticket then please let me know! I was working until 21:00 yesterday and had no access to Internet or no idea these tickets were being made available. Money and my eternal gratitude awaiting!! :)

I was at the HCTB signing in the Netherlands. Great that they sell the tickets now! Then it was just horrible. Meat had an hour. But the line was twice as long, so a lot of people couldn't get a autograph. And the 10 seconds is right. I was lucky, because there were some press, who wanted to photograph and do some tv shots. But the time they were setting up, it was my turn so I got 5 minutes with him. If I was one earlier or later, it would been 10 seconds. So if you wanna say something to him, rehearse the shit out of it. My wife wanted to say something and she only said "Uhm blah, ha jah". In such short time frame you must do it right the first time ;)

Also take 1 person with you to photograph. At our signing he didn't do photographs because he got limited time. So I got real close at the signing and my wife took a lot of photograps and just hoping one is great. I got lucky because she got a photo where you see him talking to me and looking me in the eyes.

My biggest "complaint" from the last one was that the music was too loud and the table was too deep, so ML couldn't hear a single word anyone was saying to him, we ended up screaming at each other!

But hey...it's likely to be the last time we're doing this so let's just have fun and enjoy :)

I decided against going to this one.

One of my main concerns was the cost of attending and when I combined the price of the album that we were required to purchase to be able to attend together with the cost of getting there, it pushed it a little bit out of my budget for this moment in time. :(

I was so disappointed in HMV's handling of the last signing that I didn't really think I could justify paying to attend this one. Saying that though, I'm glad that the opportunity was there for those that wanted to take it and I sincerely hope that everyone who does go enjoys themselves.

That's why I'm going - I've never been to an album signing before and I've always wanted to meet Meat properly.

I should be on Oxford St around 4.30pm, delays pending so I should have an hour and a half to kill but afterwards I may have to dash onto the train! Would love to meet some of you guys!!

The event is for 300 people and you need to pre-order with the unique number to gain entry.

(I just replied to this on my phone and hit the wrong button, so sorry if you've received this as PMs or emails!! Oops!)

Event runs from 1800 - 2100, some time before that I'll be in The Running Horse pub @ 50 Davies St, London W1K 5JE (five mins from HMV).

Please don't put this on FB event page lol

If there's any delay would it be rude of me to tell a worker about the train situation?

Mr Flibble 09 Aug 2016 12:08

I'm going by coach in the morning as it's cheaper so I'll be around most of the afternoon to meet up with anyone :)

Danny L 09 Aug 2016 14:20

I'll look at Coaches actually, thanks for the reminder

EDIT: Looked and it's cheaper for me just to take the train :D

welshman1976 09 Aug 2016 16:58

I'll be driving down from Cardiff. So hoping to get there between 12-2. Staying overnight as I'm off to meet Mick Rock on the Friday

Memories, my first time meeting you all. What trouble that has caused since then!

Danny L 09 Aug 2016 20:42

Just round the corner - I might try coming down earlier to hang out with you guys and take a stroll up Oxford St
