You are right. So, What happened to Steve? I am just curious cause I just find out that he is banned.

Chris 21 Jan 2006 22:10

Steve decided to attack other forum members.
People complained.
Steve was banned as per the rules.

Paul191 22 Jan 2006 01:09

is he banned completely?

Leah 22 Jan 2006 10:38

In that case he should be banned for an extra day or so for being cheeky and bragging about it

Pud

Paul191 22 Jan 2006 17:50

Don't worry about my name, just call me Paul. What do you mean by 'RR'.

Ankie 22 Jan 2006 19:24

Rockman Record, which is a board attached to a Jim Steinman dedicated website.

Leah 22 Jan 2006 21:41

Rockman Record is an entertaining place to say the least!!

Paul191 22 Jan 2006 21:52

Thanx, thats an interesting site, i might make a few posts in the future.

AndrewG 22 Jan 2006 22:57

I find Rockman a crazy place at times.
Look at what stephen has written today. He's out of his mind to say the least, insulting people randomly.
Luckily we have moderators here that can delete these kind of posts. I mean what the hell would Meat Loaf or Jim Steinman think if they knew they had fans like that. They would stop making music probably! :))

Depends what your views are on moderators, for the most part I personally think they're unnecessary, deleting, locking and editing posts, when they needn't have been. But that's just me, I swear a lot :D

Pud

AndrewG 23 Jan 2006 01:28

Yeah fair enough I do agree that it should not be necessary to have (too many) moderators on a site probably. I swear a lot too (a bit too much as many point out, but I'm originally from Glasgow so that explains a lot.
But if someone like Steve shows up here it's good a moderator can ban the crap out of them if necessary. :))

I guess banning is better than what most people want to do

The good thing here is that the gossip and rumors have come to an end. That's an achievement from the moderators. In fact, they should have done it a long time ago. maybe people here thought I was a pain in the arse but I was fighting against all the bullshit that one, two or three people were spreading around.

No you weren't, you were disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing. Some of the so-called rumours or gossip had to a greater or lesser degree, some air of truth about them. Unfortunately people like yourself, were more than unwilling to discuss these, joined the Meat Police and took offence.

Pud

Bart 23 Jan 2006 11:55

no, pud. you make up your own facts all the time. Just like now: "No you weren't, you were disagreeing...(..)". And they had NO truth whatsover. If I have to recollect all your statements here on this board than there is a lot of prove that they were all gossip. Don't let me "quote" your messages here.

Ankie 23 Jan 2006 14:15

Looks like we are about to have another arguement.....
It sounds as if it is turning into a personal one, so then this is not the place to have it.

Bart 23 Jan 2006 14:52

no it is not. But I got the right to defend myself. I am not starting it.

AndyK 23 Jan 2006 15:22

Anyone with a substantial number of posts on this board should know the difference between a discussion and an argument.

It doesn't matter who started it ... what matters if who finishes it and who doesn't prolong it!! Honestly, there are more rational arguments in a school playground betwen a group of 8 year olds than there are here more often than not.

Take a step away from the keyboard and think before you hit reply ... please!!

Ageing Bat 23 Jan 2006 15:47

Think we're knee deep in dummies, with all those that have been spat out lately!! :lurk: :coffee:

Keab42 23 Jan 2006 19:49

Moderators are there for when we are unable to moderate ourselves.

Bart 24 Jan 2006 00:09

Where are they in real life? My life is ****ed up totally. I need a moderator

Bart 24 Jan 2006 10:33
