I always thought it was a pity money isn't magnetic. Our cat used to come home with bits of nuts, bolts and metal washers stuck to his magnet! I did try suggesting he brought something of value but it seemed to fall on deaf ears :?

duke knooby 08 Jul 2008 23:38

now im interested... i had cats for many years... not once did any cat i owned have a magnet... collar, yes, bell, yes, magnet... no... why have cats got magnets now???

Cat flaps with lockable doors

Cathie 08 Jul 2008 23:43

And to save people having to buy metal detectors when they go to the seaside...

duke knooby 08 Jul 2008 23:43

what??? since when did cat flaps have lockable doors??

Not that it makes a great deal of difference...ours lost his magnet (he really SHOULD have been bringing home money to fund his careless attitude...) yet managed to get in anyway...by dismantling part of the catflap. Well I was quite impressed!

duke knooby 08 Jul 2008 23:46

so the mlukfc top tip of the day is... if you're gonna go burgling a house with a cat flap... bring a magnet and a small person...

or else train helens cat to grab small expensive items

One of our cats is so fat she once got stuck in the cat flap  I am telling you now, there is nothing like the indignant expression of a cat stuck in the middle of the door as you gently swing it open to get her out...

Betty 09 Jul 2008 00:37

Oh yes, thatīs a real classic scene!! Hilarious!!
I tend to rewind the best scenes and watch them all over again until Iīm laughing so hard that my tummy hurts instead of simply pause the whole thing to recover from laughing :?

SamCat 09 Jul 2008 00:42

I watched the last bit of Austin Powers the other night with my Mum and i was getting worried cos she was kinda forgetting to breath in she was laughing so much lol!!

Still appears a little odd to me when I listen to it...

it sounds like an ELO song, but with worse lyrics.

cullybackey... how am i gonna explain this one??? lol

so pleased you're enjoying it... so glad you feel the need to let others enjoy the magic

OK...latest update...I do support artists and I put my money where my mouth is. I already bought Itunes version and a full record through Amazon. Unfortunately, this comes here only as an import. My friend in Ukraine bought it too through internet...so, no, we're not freeloading here....

Enjoying it? I walk around with CD's cut from itunes on me...even if I am not listening it's good to know that I have it handy...LOL...

Jonty...does this guy have a bad management...he would have been SO BIG outside of Ireland/England if they just promoted it a bit more? He would be HUGE in America and Ukraine...so far everybody I let listen to this LOVES it...

Next item on the agenda...let me know (but a bit in advance) about any live performances...I think I just might fly over there for THAT...live is even better than the studio...I ENVY you now!!!

Something I want to share with my family here...

I found one of my bestest friends from childhood on the facebook...not enough that we have re-connected again...but he took his time to go to the house where I grew up and take his picture under my window...granted...house looked much better when we lived here...but I haven't seen it for 30 years...I am SO touched...

The German synchro is sooo bloody good!!! I was actually surprised since Iīm also not a fan of German synchros.
But this one was REALLY good! Hape Kerkeling is extremely funny!!! And Thomas Fritsch is as outstanding as he always is...what a voice!!

RadioMaster 09 Jul 2008 17:02
