I used to do it every winter...here decorations are VERY elaborate...sometimes you can't see a lawn or a house for the decorations...

This year I am SO excited about my trip - nobody has to remind me it's a Holiday coming!!!

Monstro 07 Dec 2008 20:35

Sundays are a bit of a double edged sword... on the one hand it's the tomorrow at work feeling but on the other there's the Sunday roast...yummy!!!!!!!!!

I don't have either yours and/or Anji's numbers either...I do have Anji's but I think it's outdated...

I don't know. But I've discovered it doesn't actually KILL you. Regardless of how much you sometimes wish it would. Or is that just me? ;)

And just so you don't think I've completely missed the point... "I know I've got to find, some kind of peace of mind..."

duke knooby 08 Dec 2008 19:33

got the cold :(

i feel awful

daveake 08 Dec 2008 19:46

Handy Hint

If, when you attend a christmas panto, you find yourself surrounded by a group of paranoid schizophrenics, don't shout "He's behind you!"

Dave

oh no you didn't!

mszee 09 Dec 2008 04:19

Girls...I just got this from my Canadian friend...she is usually spot on...so I will share this with you and if anybody does do it...let me know...for me even 5 minutes of cooking is too many minutes...

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world ?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

mszee 09 Dec 2008 04:20

I just thought about this and I am including Andy, Chris and Dave into the girls category...

AndyK 09 Dec 2008 10:31

An honorary girl, why thank you ... I'll get myself back home and spend an hour or two worrying about what to wear and which shoes go best with this outfit.

I'm always less than 5 minutes away from cake ... there's a shop on the corner!

Inclusion into the girl's category was based on mention of the cake in one form or the other on this forum...

I just had such a clear picture of you as a Frankfurter...no shoes will match THAT vision...

And shop around the corner is an old movie...also it's cheating...:raspberry:

AndyK 09 Dec 2008 10:45

I think I'd be more Riff Raff than Frank ...

allrevvedup 09 Dec 2008 12:25

definitely the ballroom blitz

AndyK 09 Dec 2008 13:06

Oooo.

A days rallying in Scoobs, Evos and Hyundais! 2 out of 3 ain't bad, should be fun regardless :))

snowy 09 Dec 2008 18:38

What size is that mug that fits all those ingredients????
(just so that I know when I do it!!!!)

mszee 09 Dec 2008 18:38

This is for beladonna-took...since I am about to be moderated on the other thread for hijacking it, I am out of there...what reindeer???

mszee 09 Dec 2008 18:39

RJ, do you realize that we might not have been here today if we didn't have each other way in the beginning??? Strange thought but for me definitely true...
