Country singer Josh Turner at the American Music Theater. It was a good show but the GPS got me lost and it was a ride home from hell :yikes:
|

The last show I saw was "The Wall" at Wrigley Field in Chicago. |
It's been a busy month...
|
I guess some people will soon be posting "Himself"
|
Bruce and the ESB in Manchester last night.
3hrs 20 mins of pure rock and roll, tears, laughter and rain (although the rain last for the previous 48 hours!!) |
Quote:
It was a great show and I can't wait for the dvd. |
I WILL be Glen Campbell: The Goodbye Tour @ The Hollywood Bowl TONIGHT!!!:D:D:D
|
Quote:
The concert was amazing. He can still rip it up! His music was the soundtrack of my childhood and I'm so glad I went. Just hearing all the Jimmy Webb songs was enough for me. Glen sang my favorite Webb song, "The Moon's a Harsh Mistress." It was a music moment for sure. If Campbell comes close to your area I would say it's a MUST SEE. |

COLDPLAY - 7/3/12 in Charlotte, NC (Brilliant show!)
|
Queen and Adam Lambert last week WOW!
|
Mine was of course Meat Loaf last year. In October, at Bimbadgen Winery :) Otherwise haven't been able to afford to go to any others since. Would have loved to of seen Bon Jovi when he was last in Australia, but just didn't happen :(
|
Quote:
I would of loved to have seen Bon Jovi as well but according to a friend who went he wansn't that great in life. I guess live performances are so diffrent from the polished releases we get on cd's, dvd's and Radio. |
The last concert I went to was Meat and the band Aug 2 and a fine time I had at a fab show !!! ... I am scheduled for a next show ... I'm seeing what's left of the Monkees (Michael, Micky and my darling fave Peter) Nov 29 2012 ... I'm super lookin' forward to it !!!
|
...always going to a show it seems...
|
For the second time this year, I accompanied my sister to see Steps. It was my first outdoor concert and it was a different experience to any of the other shows I've been to, the atmosphere was a lot more relaxed than arena shows and it was kind of nice to have a picnic beforehand,
I never thought that Steps would be the people I'd be seeing twice and had I have had things my way, they wouldn't have been. |
I've just seen...the heart-stopping, pants-dropping, house-rocking, earth-quaking, booty-shaking, Viagra-taking, love-making, Legendary E Street Band! Twice! :D
Two fabulous shows at Wrigley Field in Chicago, including guest appearances by both Tom Morello and Eddie Vedder both nights. And, unfortunately/fortunately, I got to experience one of those rain shows first hand. :-) |
So the E street band need viagra?
|
Quote:
Of course, if any of them have an erection that lasts as long as the Helsinki show (4:06), they need to seek medical attention. ;) |
Just something stupid you didn't need to know but I'm telling anyway
Spring and steen are two Dutch words. And if you translate them you get Jump and stone. So basically if we translate his name to English (I said it was stupid) you get the name Bruce Jumpstone  |
Quote:
You just reminded me of this though: :)) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Le2NYMfcvw0 I did manage to get ONE great picture before the rain started: :D http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/g...y/b59d4007.jpg |

Have been flashed by Mika last week here in Cologne, Germany.
Songs are simple yet special. Very charismatic and sympathic performer. Many improvisations giving it a reall live feeling (not unlike ML). Us being the oldest farts in the venue... |

Steve Lukather - 07.04. Budapest
Meat Loaf - 12.04. Birmingham meeting with 2 of my icons in a week just blew my mind away, best times i've ever had :D |
Erm, it was some fella in Birmingham. I think his name was Meat something. ;)
He was very good. |
I don't know but I was with Tony. You had to wear headphones and the band were in a soundproof box. They weren't that good.
|
So far this year besides Simple Minds, Jeff Scott Soto, Danny Vaughn(!), FM and Heat there were some SteinMeat-related ones here in Germany too:
The Darkness and Rock Meets Classic (with Bonnie Tyler alongside Paul Rogers, Chris Thompson (MM Earth Band) and Journeys Steve Augeri). And Pink, Rick Springfield, Roger Hodgson, Bruce Springsteen, Toto, Bon Jovi and Robbie Williams (don`t blame me, have to do him for my wife) to come. Showing off to proof that there are us fans not just single-minded focused on Meat. But bottom line is most multiple Meat-nights give me way more "erections of the heart" (stolen from Jim) than any other gig! |
Ooh how did you find The Darkness?! I saw them in 2003/04 and they were fantastic!!!
|
Quote:
Everything sounded the (heavy) same to me. Justin Hawkins is a reall frontman though. |
Status quo in Cardiff at Xmas 2012.(Bonnie Tyler supporting) Bonnie was superb I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

|
We went to see James on Friday at the M.E.N. My husband loved it...pretty much the whole arena loved it, but apart from a few songs I found myself struggling to stay awake...lol. (Strange because I enjoyed them at the Bridgewater Hall in 2011.) The best part was Peter Kay's surprise performance at the end.
|
The Big Reunion in Bournemouth.
Nice venue, cheesy music. |
Watching Meat rock the Netherlands :D
