I'd not heard of it either. It's on Sky channel 368, and they have a web site. I couldn't see if that programme is being repeated soon.

Dave

LucyK! 05 Sep 2007 14:37

Sadly it wasn't me that saw it so I don't know too much, all I know is that whatever it was ends with the CHSIB music video and the end credits roll while the video is on

SamCat 05 Sep 2007 14:43

It was the Planet Rock one i think Michael had it on video it was a really good programme and they showed some of the Did I Say That video too!!

SamCat 05 Sep 2007 14:58

Ok its being shown on ABC in Australia on the 17th and 23rd September!!

To catch a Yeti is about to start on Movies for Men 2 (It's part of my Sky film package) - 3.30 Fri 14.12.07

I'm glad I was off ill today

Will record it and add to my collection!

Alison

MeatGrl1 15 Dec 2007 00:57

To Catch A Yeti is great though Meat stole that film :)) !!

LOL

snowy 15 Dec 2007 21:03

I can't say that I share your enthusiasm for the film!

If it had not had Meat in it I would of turned it off at the first sight of the 'yeti'. Just shows how far animatronics and CGI have come in the past 20 years!

Well - it's another one to add to my Meat film collection. I am gradually crossing them off my list!

SW31 15 Dec 2007 23:18

if anyone intrested meat loaf 3 bats live + in search of paradise on vh1 now started at 2200

24K 15 Dec 2007 23:57

I am taping it on skyplus, even thou i have 2 copies of the dvd:)

dukesofhazard 16 Dec 2007 15:07

Was it the concert and documentary or just documentary? When I was flicking through (before I read it was on, on here) the documantary had just finished. Didn't seem to have been the full one anyway with ad's factored in & that it seemed to finish 15 mins before it was scheduled to

Andy hasn't seen To Catch A Yeti, and I think I'd have to be pretty pissed with him to make him watch it (and pretty drunk to get through it myself! ) Meat has a couple of good lines but apart from that the whole thing is horrendously painful, don't think I've watched it since I was about 10 :?

Diane 11 Jan 2008 00:55

Also will he be performing live or just chatting?

snowy 03 May 2008 22:42

Don't know - husband just saw the end of tonights draw and they said that Meat would be on the midweek draw which is usually Wed. I will check the TV listings to see if I can find anything else out

SW31 03 May 2008 23:21

yep it is weds they normaly only sing & press the button

meatloaf-unofficial 03 May 2008 23:46

ooooo singing great! Wonder if the band will be there. I think the last time I saew Meat on the Lottery was doing Dead Ringer back in 1999? Not unless I've missed an episode since then :-)

If the band are there, I wonder if this will be the way we meet the new lead female singer :-)

Battybarb 04 May 2008 00:09

I think I might do that. Not done one yet since I turned 17 so maybe it might be first time lucky and the added bonus of him being there :-) .... I wish...

New singer? What's this? (Tried searching the forum but it kept telling me I was under minimum word length even when I wasn't...) Is Aspen no longer with him?

snowy 05 May 2008 00:04

I'm glad I'm not the only confused one. I thought I had missed something!

RadioMaster 05 May 2008 09:33

shhhh :bleh:

meat_loaf 05 May 2008 13:33

Im confussed as well as i check the tv gudie online and the only thing that Meats to appear in this week is "This morning" didnt say anything about him being on the lottery... think i'll go and check .net lol

samurai7 05 May 2008 19:40

according to the bbc website, the lotto programme is only on for five minutes, so it's unlikely that there'll be a performance from Mr Loaf.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone/listings..._4223_21701_60

belladonna-took 05 May 2008 21:29

Yes! An hour on Newsnight would be much more sustaining than the National Lottery Draw! Still, there is the One Show on Thursday on BBC1 at 7pm...can't wait to see if Meat takes it over ...oh, and This Morning tomorrow on ITV 10.30 onwards.
He's on lots of other telly too..but it's all funny channels i can't get.
He's also doing interviews with the Guardian,GQ, Classic Rock...and lots of radio stuff too

greg 05 May 2008 21:31

watched it laest week sean and kelly rowland was on and she did a song mate

RadioMaster 05 May 2008 21:36

dont think meat will sing during this promo run, as there's no obvious reason for it.

Would be different if he was promoting a new album or single.

I though he might just be releasing the balls on the lottery! lol you know pressing the button and saying good luck sometimes celebs just do that don't they?

The Flying Mouse 05 May 2008 23:51

 I seem to remember Chris telling me a nice little ML fact that's relevant here..

Something about how Meat's appearances on the lottery have been completly in sync with double (or is it tripple) rollovers.

yeah... Patti. I bet he's saving the 'unvailing' of the new soinger for then and maybe a performance to show us what she'll be like - thats only IF Patti doesn't come back, which I am hoping for....:D

LucyK! 06 May 2008 21:25
