Still have problems getting online full time which is a pain...

Sorry to hear about your back...I know my dad suffers a lot from it and Steveo's has never been right, so i'd say it was more frustrating then anything else.

RadioMaster 11 Aug 2009 09:39

:wall::wall::wall:

spend every spare minute since friday afternoon trying to get my new computer running, just to find out my tft display is broken :wall: as I spent all my money on the new computer, i wont be able to buy a new one till next month. :bicker:

allrevvedup 11 Aug 2009 11:07

i'd blame the government if i were you.

on a separate topic...wondering why that person was trying to contact me so early in the day

RadioMaster 11 Aug 2009 11:43

it's really frustrating to sit on the fastest computer you ever used in your life and not being able to boot it :wall:
found a nice display though: 22", 16:10 format and hd ready. might even use that as substitute for my tv as well

Lord Kagan 11 Aug 2009 13:48

got a job, now i dont want one :(

RadioMaster 11 Aug 2009 13:53

what job?

Lord Kagan 11 Aug 2009 13:58

security for something dunno what though

RadioMaster 11 Aug 2009 14:02

mine's better :p
security mostly is quite laid back though (so I'm told)

Lord Kagan 11 Aug 2009 14:05

yup was talkin to some of the people who work there and they say basically you get paid to watch DVDS and talk, the actual work is minimal never mind the stupid hours :(

RadioMaster 11 Aug 2009 16:28

that's what I heard as well. A friend of mine did it for a factory for a few years, he didnt have to deal with anything serious at all the time he was there.
Is that a 'proper' job or something done to financ studying?

wouldnt work. I have an old CRT TV only with scart sockets.

Yes it would work because I have the computer hooked up to an old TV just like yours. All you need to do is get a scart adaptor, a PC->TV cable and a cable going from line out on the computer to your stereo for sound. Then just change the setting on your computer from monitor toTV and hey presto!

Well it works for me

RadioMaster 12 Aug 2009 09:40

thanks, but before i go through all that I'll rather keep using my old laptop for another week, till the new monitor arrives.

Pudding 12 Aug 2009 09:56

That's a better plan

Aerosmith cancelled the rest of the tour due to Steven Tyler breaking his shoulder...which means no meet and greet and no chicago show.:(

Still going to chicago though...too late to change now and there's always Staind!

That's a shame for you. Silly ~~~~~~ should have watched where he was dancing though and not fallen off the stage shouldn't he?

allrevvedup 14 Aug 2009 13:18

Yeah i've seen the vid it looked freaky...the sound system went and he starts doing his dancing round catwalk and the next he's slipped and fallen off.

Bang goes the meet and greet with him and Joe Perry as well.

AndyK 14 Aug 2009 13:35

At least Steven Tyler is in good company ...

Meat's broken his leg twice falling off stages and apparently fell off the stage in 1994 as well, but didn't break anything. Jim Morrison regularly fell off stages. Michael Jackson fell off and broke his (own) nose. Stevie Wonder fell last year during a Barack Obama election rally. Other tumblers that I can think of include Stevie Ray Vaughn, Hank Williams, and Noel Redding (Hendrix's bass player). And, Bono regularly gets very close to The Edge. :))

The Flying Mouse 17 Aug 2009 19:19

 Had a bit of a shock yesterday.
Seen an old pal of mine (Phil) who i'd known from a couple of pubs i've worked over the years, but had lost touch with him a few years ago.
He told me that Graham, the manager of The Boundry (a regular client) had died two years ago at the age of 28.
Of liver damage
Apparently he'd been hitting the vodka way too hard.
At 28 though FFS :wtf:

WAY too young.

Well after i gotta tetanus shot my arm was hurting for days.

its probably the blood vessels are trying to rehabilitate the lost blood and is clotting to repare. the pain you feel can be attributed to harmless glands of the aorta.

To find out more about blood clotting effects try the following links:

http://yourtotalhealth.ivillage.com/blood-clots.html

http://www.medicinenet.com/blood_clots/article.htm

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/MEDLINEPLUS/e...cle/001124.htm

or its simple that your arm is just extreamily sore from the extractions and just needs a good work week to heal (5 days)

i hope Dr. W. Loaf MD was of help to you young RJ.

Now remember your 6-month check up.

Feel better soon

From Your Family Doctor

RadioMaster 24 Aug 2009 17:56
