Yep, as you make more posts your "rank" will change from Rookie, through to Loafer, Super Loafer etc...

There's an option in your profile to change that status to something of your own as some of us have done, I presume that that facility is available to everyone and not just people who have made a certain number of posts?!

Isn't it after a certain number of posts (in the hundreds, I believe) or after a certain amount of time, I think it's 3 years?

I really wouldn't know as I was into over a thousand posts when I changed mine...I'm sure Super Mod will correct me when he's finished at his meeting! :p

Thanks for the help, I can't seem to find anything to change the rank namo thingo, so I guess its just for certain post numbers or years, and thanks for welcoming me to the mad house!!

If you're able to change it then the option is Custom User Title - click User CP at the top left of the page, Edit Profile and the it's the second option after Change Password

Don't know about Super Mod .. .but Super Roadie is back from his highly entertaining meeting and can confirm that the custom user title is indeed only available to users who have reached a certain post count level.
