My dance is rather like my life
Nothing works the same way twice
If it's the same it's a shame, but I am the only to blame
For thinking recreation would suffice...

... first day of Spring ... only the front and back doors screens in ... and i'm being driven mad by the noise of "out there" already !! ... i don't expect the world to be a library ... just for those in it to respect the audio area belonging to others ...

The thing that blows me away the most, Jonty...is this...12 songs written by 12 different musicians...the book was sent to all to base the concept on, one movie of 12 was designated and style was determined...and when you listen to it...god, you can just SWEAR all songs are written by the same person...incredible...

I guess for me...of course, if this is all true...it is incredible that all 11 responded and each one wrote an incredible song obviously on the same page with Duke...

Yes, he is definitely bonkers...but what a glorious bonkers he is!

mszee 21 Mar 2010 07:43

Just done a cyber double take...did you just seriously call somebody mad???? Seriously???

Good to hear 24.

Here, we have just had a huge storm, Well, lucky it all came crashing down today, and not yesterday, we had our Grand final yesterday for cricket, and both A grade & B grade won!!

Over 100 sets of traffic lights are out, flash flooding and hale the size of golf balls, thunder & Lightening. Strooooooooooong winds, they have blown a big skip bin onto the road near my work, the road my work is on is flooded in one section lol, I had to go through 3 flooded sectionson the freeway on the way home, its NUTS out there. And of course this lovely weather only seems to bring out the loonies on the road!!!

Sounds like it has calmed down a bit now though. People have smashed windows, flooded houses and dented cars, I am very lucky the only thing I have to complain about at the moment is that I just washed my car on Saturday and now I've had to drive in rain and flooding lol

Isn't this basically the album that was available in various cheap stores for ages on a very poor quality cd and has now been remastered by his estate for extra cash?

Ok, I've asked elsewhere so without starting a poll i'll try and get an opinion here, which of the four is a better song title in your humble opinions?

1) All is fair

2) You and me

3) You and me (All is fair)

4) All is fair - or - You and me

AndyK 22 Mar 2010 14:28

I'd go for option 1.

You and me was a kids TV show in the 70's and 80's and I can still rmember the theme tune ...

allrevvedup 22 Mar 2010 15:01

yeah now you mention it I can remember that show too, BBC wasn't it?

If i remember something you do from that long ago it's a sign i'm catching up on you age wise :D

I have had one other suggestion that I should use option 4 and combine the two, a bit like counting crows did with If I could give all my love - richard manuel is dead

AndyK 22 Mar 2010 15:07

Or a sign that it ran from the 70's to the early/mid 90's but I stopped watching it when I stopped being a student :))

allrevvedup 22 Mar 2010 15:13

to save us both we'll go with that...

duke knooby 22 Mar 2010 18:42

you and me, me and you etc etc

i say song title 3 or song title 1
or no.5 nothings fair

Sue K 22 Mar 2010 19:21

it will be short day at work today ... in fact... i'm closeAsThis to packing it up ... singer Mark Lindsay has accepted me as a friend on FB... oh the innocence of some hinh ? ... lol ... and i'm happy to hear the leak in the dike has been repaired ...

Great to get an idea in your head for a song, find lyrics that sound great and for it all to click like it did yesterday (now if i could just get paid for doing this I wouldn't need to be in work anymore)

Maby you could try "irfan view". The program is able to compress image files. After saving the file you can reduce the size.

Main Entry: mooch
Pronunciation: \ˈmüch\
Function: verb
Etymology: probably from French dial. muchier to hide, lurk
Date: 1851
intransitive verb 1 : to wander aimlessly : amble; also : sneak
2 : beg, sponge transitive verb 1 : to take surreptitiously : steal
2 : beg, sponge

— mooch·er noun

but i spell the word "mootch" ... branding her with my small "t" ... ;) ... she's my wee 12 yo lhasa apso or maybe she's 13 now ? ... anyroad... food's out ? ... she's there begging ... ergo ipso facto ... da mootch ...

thanks for caring enough to ask... serio ... :-) ...

tink ... momentarily feeling all warm and fuzzy and STILL part of the commune ... ... lol ... but ... :spit: ... there... that moment's past... ;) ...

Wish people would accept the fact MJ has sadly passed, sick of getting group and fan invitations saying he's still alive, as much as I would love that to be true I know it's not, why can't we keep his memory alive by watching his concerts, videos and films etc why do so many want to hurt the family even more, I don't understand it. Still happens with Elvis and that annoys the crap out of me too :bicker: !!
