Hmmm, been pressuring my employer for three years for a training course I want, and when they finally schedule it, not only do I have to be at the training centre on a Sunday night, but it starts on a public holiday!

He interviewed Meat a few years ago on an RTE television show called Ryan Confidential

Only about 53 as far as I know

duke knooby 30 Apr 2010 16:09

Dan is asking if you did it from the different computer - you can only sinc with one computer at a time. If that's what you did, you can still recover library from the other computer. If that's not what you did, if you still have songs on your computer you can re-import is to your iphone. Just see if it's still on your computer...he is TOTALLY talking some techno gibberish to me so I will stop now...lol...

Do you still have your song library on that computer then? Or did you delete it from the computer itself?

Monstro 02 May 2010 02:02

Oh yeah, all back on phone now, just wanna know how I managed to delete them all in the first place

Did the songs show up when you brought up iTunes? If not, then most likely the file that iTunes uses to track your play lists (My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music Library.xml) got corrupted somehow. If that's what happened, you might want to save a copy of that file as a backup. Or, iTunes lets you export that file (under File/Library/Export Library ...). To restore from an exported library, the command is (File/Library/Import Playlist...).

The only thing I can suggest is that you managed to unclick the 'sync music' button in the i-Phone summary page when you had it connected... If your music was still in your library, it would have taken ages for you to delete every song one by one....

~Helen~ 02 May 2010 22:51

Actually dismantled my non-working oven today. There's a huge chunk of element missing ... must've made one hell of a bang when that blew ... funny how it remained amongst the things the house's previous owners kept quiet. No wonder he avoided all eye contact when I passed him in the street. Anyway, no biggie - only £20 for a new one (element, that is) ... just need to remember where all the screws came from ... :?

Glasgow is very nice, and plus i saw more promotion for Hang Cool teddy bear on one street (in the form of posters) then I have in the whole of dublin

For a stadium that can hold almost 60,000, having only 24,000 there was very strange. little or no atmosphere and quality of football was poor. Still it was worth going to for the experience of the whole day

back to normal and to work now...the album is well under way and may have as many as 14 songs

Sue K 03 May 2010 11:59

i put together a fan yesterday... as i said to a cousin... it was much similar to the 100 monkeys with 100 typewriters... there was much "ah-HA"ing going on in my livingroom... and at longly last... "TA-DAAAH ... FAN !" ... lol ...

Ah that'll be why I missed them, for the first time in a long time I didn't go down Buchanan St on my wanderings. Will definitely keep an eye out next time I'm down in case they're still there.

Nope...just a bit of card with your name and address on (which gets posted out to you) and I don't think you even need proof of ID to register for that :?

Actually, it gets worse ... a colleague has been asked last minute to stand in as a poll clerk (she requested to do it but originally was not required) ... so now she can have no vote as she has missed the deadline to apply for postal vote and as she is poll clerk-ing at a different place to her own poll station and she cannot leave all day, she cannot vote.

You do need proof of id to register if you've never been registered before, otherwise the proof is your prior registration in a different area, you don't need the bit of card to actually vote either which is crazy ... roll up give them a name and address that is on the register and you're fine. Our fair and democratic system open to abuse? No chance :lmao:

I don't remember ever needing proof ... but maybe my birth being registered put me on the electoral roll automatically :? all I know is that I now get a piece of card (or two) through the post and I take it / them with me when I go to vote.
